This colonial style villa, with private swimming pool, is situated in Olivella just 15mins from the beachside town of Sitges. With views of the Garraf Natural Park, the villa is the perfect location for enjoying nights out, days on the beach or walks through the surrounding hills and vineyards. 40 mins from Barcelona allows for day trips to the historical city with its many attractions and places of interest.

We stayed at this place for a lovely weekend in the hills of Garraf, conveniently placed between Barcelona and Sitges, and loved it! James and David are the perfect hosts and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is fantastic and relaxing by their pool is a real pleasure, especially after going on one of the nearby walks in the hills. Highly recommended!

A labour of love for owners James and David who have provided an oasis of tranquility in the foothills of Catalonia. Wonderful scenery and pine scents just a short hop from the nightlife of Sitges. We had a great stay, learned a lot about local wines and felt as if our best friends had given us the keys to their fabulous casa for the weekend. We will be back.

During our 10 day trip to Spain we stayed at the Casa Colina in Olivella outside Barcelona for 5 wonderful nights. Our hosts David and James were very attentive and always at hand to helps us out. The Casa is beautifully situated high in the hills with wonderful view of the area, our bedroom was very large with a wonderful light atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool in the late afternoon sun after days sightseeing and the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. We visited the local towns and Sitges on the coast about 15 drive away and always were met with friendly helpful locals wanting to converse in Spanish as well as try out their English on us. The highlight of our stay was when we had an evening meal in the front garden of Casa Colina, David cooked some wonderful steaks with meat all the way from Ireland and then followed it up with a Pear Tart tatin which was to die for. James was the waiter for the evening and did a wonderful jobs with the service and creating a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy David’s wonderful food….you must eat here!! Val and I would recommend the casa Colina to everybody and we may even be back boys to enjoy the pool.

I have been to this oasis three times! I can’t believe how peaceful and relaxing it is at Casa Colina. The first night was the most fitful sleep I’ve had in a long time! The rooms are large and comfortable and the view from the balcony is rustic and authentically Spanish. The private courtyard is like a mini-oasis with beautiful palm trees and comfy surroundings. And why not have a dip in the full-size pool to cool off? And then, the food: AMAZING! The English breakfast with homemade jam is a great way to start the day, but David is an excellent chef [a real trained chef!] and I recommend that you stay for dinner where you will be treated with a gourmet meal and wine pairings! I couldn’t stop raving about the food. When you arrive you feel instantly at home and for the duration of your stay you will be well taken care of. James and David have created a first class haven in the hills outside of Sitges and just off the main routes to all that Spain has to offer. Whether you are just passing through or using Casa Colina as base-camp for your travels, I can assure you that your only regret will be not staying here longer!
