We stayed in both the Yellow Room and the Attic Suite, both were very different but both were amazing. Our hosts were beyond friendly, out-going and accommodating. They made you feel like you were staying at a familiar relatives home; a place where you could truly kick back and relax. There is no question that there will be another Steever House get-a-way in out future.

I would definitely recommend the Steever House to anyone who is staying in the Sioux Falls area. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in the attic suite which included a whirlpool bathtub and shower built for two- very relaxing and extremely private. The interior was beautifully restored, and the innkeeper was very friendly and eager to share the history of his home. Great breakfast, too! We will definitely be returning next year when we go to visit my mom in South Dakota!

The Steever House is a real home and we felt totally welcomed and pampered. My husband and I were snowed in here, and John cooked us three meals a day while we happily relaxed by the parlor fire with Betty the dog. John and Sara incorporated us into the family dinner. We talked and laughed and ate. We loved it all!

My husband and I received a night's stay as a gift from our children. Having never stayed at a B&B before, we did not know what to expect. It was awesome! Our attic room, the hot tub, the fireplace, everything set a beautiful, romantice evening for us. The family style breakfast in the morning was a gourmet delight. On a scale of 1 to 10? 10!
