The Woodlands Inn, an impeccably restored 1906 classic revival-style mansion set amidst 42 acres of parkland grounds, is one of only two Inns in the US to be awarded the coveted Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond awards for both lodging and dining in 2008. All 18 spacious guest accommodations and one cottage feature BOSE CD stereos, lavish baths with steam-heated towel racks and most with with working fireplaces. On the grounds guests can enjoy an intimate Day Spa, all weather swimming pool, two English-red clay tennis courts, a regulation size croquet lawn, land cruiser bicycles and garden walks.     The Dining Room at Woodlands Inn, awarded both the Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond Ratings, was recently named 2009 Restaurant of the Year by The (Charleston) Post and Courier.  The climate controlled swimming pool is nestled in a private area of the estate, with a lovely sun patio and cabanas. Poolside dining is also available.
    The Private Dining Room, perfect for intimate social gatherings or a business meeting. The two English red-clay tennis courts are lighted for night play. Lessons and clinics are available.
    Our most desired accommodations are the Executive Suites, each with 630 square feet of gracious luxury featuring a four-poster king bed, a sitting area centered around a gas fireplace, private bath with oversized whirlpool tub and separate walk-in shower, electronic blinds, heated towel racks, and Aveda amenities.Second floor Junior Suites were once the bedrooms for the family that built the mansion. Each has its own unique design and size, averaging a very comfortable 525 square feet. All feature a queen bed, a gas fireplace upon request, and private bath with oversized whirlpool tub and shower.

Superior Rooms were also once bedrooms for the original family of the mansion. Each of these rooms is unique in design and size, averaging 415 square feet. One of the Superior Rooms features a queen-size bed, while the other features two twin beds. Both have luxurious marble tiled showers
