    Exit I-26 at exit #76 (SC Hwy 219) when you see the brown Newberry Opera House sign. Follow signs to Newberry - 4 miles on Hwy 219 which becomes Main Street. In center of downtown (6th traffic light from the interstate) College Street crosses Main Street. Turn right on College Street. We are on the right, second house after the second traffic light. Our driveway and parking is just after our white sign at curbside. If you reach Newberry College campus, you've missed us!
  • Nearest major airport: Columbia, SC (CAE-Metropolitan) 45 miles
  • Directions from airport:
    From CAE, take I-26 West (towards Greenville)and exit at #76 - and follow directions to property. We are also easily accessible from Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) airport - 60 miles. From GSP take I-85 South to I-385 East toward Columbia. I-385 will merge with I-26 at Clinton just before exit #52. Continue on I-26 to Newberry Exit #72 (SC Hwy 121). Follow Hwy 121 toward town. This road will become College Street. Make no turns but continue on College Street past Newberry College campus on your left. We are two-and-a-half blocks beyond the campus also on your left, before the traffic light at Calhoun Street. Pull into the driveway just before our curbside white sign.

    The TOWER ROOM is furnished with a comfortable antique oak queen bed and has a sitting area and private shower bath. The STUDIO ROOM has a queen bed and matching twin bed, a small TV/VCR, fridge and microwave. It has a private shower bath. The ROSE-GYPSY SUITE has a king sized bed in the spacious Rose Room and comfortable seating. Adjacent is the Gypsy Room, a sitting room with comfortable chairs for reading and a twin-sized day bed for lounging. The day-bed conceals a twin trundle, thus serving to accommodate one or two additional persons in the Suite. The Suite also is fitted with a small TV/VCR, fridge and microwave. The Suite is served by a full bath with claw-foot tub and shower. There is an upstairs sitting-hall with books and games, a parlor with piano and large porch with lots of rockers.

Served with our locally made breakfast sausages, hot muffins and biscuits. A fresh fruit dish always starts your breakfast and there is plenty of chilled juice and your choice of hot beverages.

      Notice of cancellation received more than three days in advance will permit full refund of deposit. For cancellations received with less than three days notice it may be necessary to charge one night's fare, if we are unable to re-book the reserved room(s). Early departures, late arrivals and rescheduling are included in the cancellation policy.
