Walnut Lane Inn

History and charm come together with a stay at Walnut Lane Inn Bed and Breakfast. As we drove up the treed lane, and viewed the huge house, we knew this was something special! We were greeted at the front door by our host who made us feel so welcome with his casual but professional demeanor. We took advantage of the remaining daylight to enjoy a walk around the beautiful property before we settled in. Music, coffee, homemade cookies, and more added to our stay. Our room was lovely, clean, and peaceful. Breakfast was truly gourmet! We look forward to staying again and highly recommend the Walnut Lane Inn Bed and Breakfast.

My husband and I visited SC for the first time and stayed at the Walnut Lane B&B and would stay there again if we go back to the area. From beginning to end we had the nicest stay imaginable! Hoyt greeted us at the door and showed us around the charming Victorian house. We worked out our breakfast/coffee schedule and were enlightened to the many sights and places to eat in the area. Our room was beautiful, clean and even had a blow dryer if needed! The canopy bed was very comfortable and romantic. The view outside our window was stunning with the beautiful grounds in full bloom (we stayed in the Orchard room). Hoyt cooked us some very gourmet breakfasts that were delicious and filling. The graciousness and kindness of our host was wonderful and we would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. The Walnut Lane B&B made a great trip even better!!

Stayed here because of the location and were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. Host was great and we will stay here again on our next trip through the area.

I got married here. We were the first military wedding that was ever conducted here. Let me tell you, it takes a special type of person to be able to handle a group of Marines. The owners of this establishment WERE GREAT! We have stayed here multiple times since. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. My wife was estatic about the service we got here. The food they prepare here, whether it is lunch, or the complimentary breakfast, is fantastic. The owners here know what customer service means, and go absolutely above and beyond to ensure a pleasurable visit. I would recommend Walnut Lane for a romantic getaway, wedding or any other event that you can think. You will not be disappointed.

From the time we arrived, our needs were met by David. Very nice guy, and a very nice place. The grounds were beautiful and the driveway was like Gone With The Wind. The price was reasonable for the rooms. We stayed in The Orchard Room, definitely a pretty view of the gardens. Next time we would want to try a different room on the other side of the house. Just for a change, they are beautiful as well. I would recommend this place.

Although we have previously stayed at WLI, today we could only visit for lunch. The peach tea was a very special treat, and our sandwiches and fruit were devine. It is no wonder that it is difficult to get a table here!

The place reminds me of my Grandma's house were I have good memories of my childhood. Hoyt and David were the best hosts of our trip which included various bed and breakfast.

Everything at the Walnut Lane Inn is outstanding. We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing at the end of a week of travel. I would recommend the inn to everyone.

I highly recommend the Walnut Lane inn, whether you need a quiet getaway, a romantic experience, or are on a business trip. The inn is quiet, cozy, and unique. The hosts are great!

The innkeepers did everything they could to make our stay great. Great food and setting.

Upon arriving the grounds were immaculate, David greeted us at the door with a smile, and fresh baked cookies! were waiting for us inside. They had our key waititng, and the room was just fabulous. We had a great fresh fruit and cheese tray, chocolate-covered strawberries, and champagne beginning to start two days of wonderful tranquillity. The Walnut Lane Inn will give you just the piece and quiet you would expect out of a Bed and Breakfast! Give it a try, I promise you will love it!!!!!!!!!

Walnut Lane Inn is pleasing to the eye inside and out. Our guest room (Mallard Room) was large and had a nice Spring breeze blowing through the windows when we opened them. The innkeepers are very polite and provide CD players in the rooms with soothing CD's. Breakfast was delicious. The gardens outside are well maintained. This is a great place for a lazy weekend getaway.

If you are in NW South Carolina, Walnut Lane Inn is a must! Beautiful property, delicious meals, southern hospitality...you could not ask for more!
