The Beaufort Room, named for the seaport city of Beaufort, in the southern part of South Carolina is a favorite of our guests. With its own sitting area and access to the second level veranda overlooking the DuPre gardens and pool, the Beaufort room is one of the most requested. The fireplace is popular in the winter. The room has a private bath and shower with vanity. Decorated in hues of red, green and gold with a beautiful collection of Polish crystal on display.The Georgetown Room: This first floor room is furnished with a queen size canopy bed, antique settee, built-in bookcase, and dresser. The large fireplace adds warmth in the winter, and is perfect for a romantic getaway. The room has a private bath and shower with vanity. Decorated in hues of pink and green with collection of Frankoma pottery and oriental bowls on display.
The only Bed and Breakfast in Georgetown with a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by beautiful gardens and scalloped fence. Very refreshing on those hot summer days and nights in the Lowcountry. Relax in a chaise lounge. Also nearby is a heated spa ideal for cooler evenings under the stars.Fitness center with weight lifting equipment, free weights, and state-of-the-art treadmill. Several Winsor Pilates DVDs are available to play on the TV in the center. Mats and Pilates accessories are also provided. The fitness center has air conditioning and heat for year-round use. A CD player and cable TV are mounted inside the center for additional entertainment.
The Williamsburg Room on the second floor has a queen size pencil post bed,and is decorated in Colonial blue and white toile with a collection of Liberty Blue porcelain on display. This room has access to the seond level veranda with views of the garden and fountain in the front of the house. It has a fireplace and large private bathroom with tub and shower.Relax and indulge yourself in the soothing six-person theraputic heated spa perfect for cooler evenings under the stars. It is a romantic retreat for couples or a way to unwind after a day of golfing, sightseeing or walking around town.
This is the main palor on the first floor of the house where guests can sit and enjoy the large fireplace. Just to the left is the large formal dining room.The large formal dining room is where guests will enjoy a delicious, bountiful gourmet breakfast served hot each day with coffee or tea, and juice. In the evening, guests are treated to an evening reception with appetizers and beverages before heading into town for dinner.
DuPre House sits on an acre with formal gardens in the front, around the pool, and in the rear of the property. The large gazebo with sitting area is a perfect sanctuary for guests.
