We had Wonderful stay at the jasmine inn. The room was very comfortable. The courtyard was great and the food was good.

March 11, 2011
I am a disabled military verteran and have a handicap parking permit so when arriving at the Inn we parked in handicap parking. Upon walking into the Inn Mr. Nazareth greeted us with "your parked in handicap area you will have to move your vehicle" after explaining that I have a handicap tag he stated "it better be correct or you will be towed" from that point on our relationshiip went down hill! For instance that evening I went on the internet and found a website for private carriage rides at a discount rate of $90 for one hour. The next day I asked Mr. Nazareth if he could arrange a private carriage ride for us and he stated "I can get you a great deal for a 45 minute ride at $150" hmmm what's wrong with this picture?? This is not your typical Bed and Breakfast......no dining area, no indoor sitting area, breakfast was offered continental style in a narrow hallway on top of a bureau, evening cheese and wine was offered in the same format and both menus never changed. Would not recommend.....the value is below average
4.6 out of 5Jasmine House Provides Old World Charm in Downtown Charleston
July 05, 2010
The Jasmine House was a wonderful place to stay and experience old world Charleston and South Carolina Low Country charm. The staff was excellent - from the initial query to see if rooms were available to setting up the reservation to checking in and parking at the Indigo Inn across the street. The location - - just blocks from the old market, the shops on Meeting and King Street, and Charleston Harbor is well situated for visitors that want to walk around the downtown. Everything was minutes away on foot. This was especially helpful for viewing the Independence Day Fireworks from the Harbor Waterfront Park that were launched from the Yorktown at Patriots Point since parking downtown can be difficult to find when major events are underway. The Jasmine House has a wonderful breakfast and evening wine and cheese snack. Visitors can enjoy breakfast or the evening appetizer either on the front porch (upper or lower) or the enclosed patio behind the kitchen. I would definitely stay at the Jasmine House again in the future. For a native Charlestonian who lives on the other side of the country now, this was a marvelous taste of home.
