The location was good, it was within walking distance to much of Historic Downtown and steps away from waterfront park. The rooms were very nice, the staff was also nice and very helpful. The various services including, continental breakfast, wine and cheese, and sherry, were nice touches. However, all this was somewhat eclipsed by how difficult it was to get a good night's sleep, or feel that you had any privacy. Between the hours of 5:30am and 8am there were carts being wheeled passed our door multiple times, people stomping passed our door, people speaking and laughing loudly (even when they weren't speaking loudly, you could still hear voices), phones ringing constantly, and doors slamming. I felt for the price we paid for the room, we certainly should have been able to sleep. With how easily noises penetrated our room, we almost felt we had to whisper not to be heard ourselves. I would advise someone thinking of staying here to make sure they do not get one of the ground floor rooms next to reception. I wish I had known.
