A perfect match

4.6 on April 15, 2014

We made reservations only a day before our arrival and the last question Bruce asked me before we got off the phone was, "Do you have any special dietary concerns?" Two mornings later we are sitting in the lovely dining area of the Bloomsbury Inn enjoying a gluten-free breakfast highlited by a crust less quiche. Kathryn has definitely found her calling as an exquisite hostess.

Exquisite Historic Property

5 on April 14, 2014

My family and I tend to seek out historic properties when traveling. I'm always hoping the accommodations will be as described; however, Bloomsbury Inn far exceeded our expectations. Ture perfection! I don't know exactly where to start….the house is in perfect condition, the room was well appointed and clean as well as comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast and tablescape were original and lovely. The afternoon social was genuine and fun. I couldn't believe the interest Katherine and Bruce took in my teenage daughter. My impression of the Inn and of Camden could earn me a spot on the Chamber of Commerce! Everything was top notch. Katherine and Bruce, or should I say Colonels, thank you for a lovely visit. We look forward to returning to Bloomsbury Inn.

Great Retreat

Southern hospitality and charm are at their finest with Bruce and Katherine. The entire inn is well appointed and tastefully decorated. Don't miss breakfast, especially Katherine's home made biscuits in the skillet. Afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres on the front poarch is a great time to get to know Bruce and Katherine as well as the other guests. Be sure to have Bruce make dinner reservations for you at the Mill Pond Steakhouse.

Wonderful stay!

4.8 on April 05, 2014

I was lucky enough to be able to spend a week at the Bloomsbury Inn this past March. It was exactly what I needed and even better than I expected. The company was wonderful and the breakfasts out of this world. Brice and Katherine are the epitome of gracious, southern hosts!

Mix business with pleasure

5 on April 02, 2014

I was disappointed with the hotel choices in the area when I found Bloomsbury Inn. It was perfect for a business traveler feeling like a home away from home. Katherine and Bruce were very accomodating with my busy morning schedule making sure I had a wonderful breakfast to go. It was so relaxing to spend the evening on the porch after a long day. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Camden as it was a very nice chance from my normal travel routine.
