Wonderful!

5 on November 18, 2014

We were so happy and impressed with our stay. The room was terrific, the food spectacular and the hosts were extremely accommodating. I was in town for a seminar, and my husband spent his days enjoying the propery and the wealth of knowledge about history, the area and the house, provided by Bruce As I said, I had a seminar so my breakfast time was outside of the usual hours, so Kathleen made me a to-go care breakfast bag. It was very kind and made such a difference in my day. We were so pleased to ahve stayed there and hope to again. It is a gem.

Great stay

What a wonderful home! Great antebellum mansion with beautiful grounds and friendly informative hosts that truly made you feel very welcome. Bruce and Katherine were superb hosts and Bruce was a wealth of information about the civil war and how the people struggled to recover after the war. Nothing was overlooked in this B&B.and would highly recommend it. Bill and Sharon Bill and Sharon

BEYOND AMAZING

5 on September 17, 2014

This place is amazing!!! From the moment you arrive and get past the awe of the beauty of the house, you are greeted by the two most amazing people you would ever want to be in the company of. Bruce and Katherine are warm, friendly and treat everyone as if they have known you for years and are a part of the family. The house is absolutely beautiful and full of history to which Bruce is very passionate to share his vast knowledge about. The tour of the house with Bruce is wonderful. The breakfast every morning that Katherine has prepared herself is simply amazing. There are not enough words to describe this place or Bruce and Katherine. This is a must stay for anyone. We will be back!!!!!

Our week of Heaven

5 on September 11, 2014

Our stay from beginning to end was just fabulous. I have always wanted to stay in a Historical house in South Carolina. The grounds and the house were large and grand. Bruce and Katherine were the best innkeepers with lots of care and love, made me feel like it was my house. The breakfasts made from scratch are to die for with homemade Jams and Coffee! The trees with the Spanish moss to the columned porch with white rocking chairs a dream come true. The tour was one of the highlight of stay. Bruce told stories that kept us intrigued and laughing. So much to see in Camden South Carolina well informed about the town and history. My husband needed to pry me off the porch some nights to go to dinner. Being from Utah we were their to see our son graduate from Basic at Fort Jackson. If we come back I know right where I am staying Bloomsbury Inn! Love to you always Bruce and Katherine, love Robin and Donavan Pomikala from Utah

A Perfect Getaway

Historic Beauty

5 on September 04, 2014

Our one-night stay at Bloomsbury was very last minute. But that didn't matter to Katherine and Bruce, who welcomed us in - just in time for the afternoon wine. My husband and Bruce talked for hours about their college years at UGA. The house is more spectacular than the pictures, and we will return. Ouida and Phil Duluth, GA

Superb visit

5 on August 26, 2014

Absolutely delighted with the accommodations, innkeepers Katherine and Bruce, the beautiful breakfast, great rooms, and just pulling up to the house is a treat. You just know you're in for something special and we weren't disappointed in any way. Hope to get back again, for longer, and take some time to explore the rest of this beautiful town.

A B&B with it´s own history

5 on August 18, 2014

We stayed at the Bloomsbury Inn in Camden, South Caroline, on August 15th 2014. Unfortunately just for one night due to our schedule, but it was enough to know that it was the correct choice. The house is absolutely amazing, and Bruce and Katherine, the perfect southern innkeepers. Our room - "Mary Chesnut" - was perfect, with all details, and the breakfast was amazing! Just an advice: take your time to listen to Bruce histories about the house and the history of Camden. Thank you very much Bruce and Katherine. María & Rodrigo

Stands out among other B&Bs

4.8 on August 17, 2014

The price paid does not really reflect the excellent accommodations. Really worth more than charged compared to other stays at B&Bs. We would rate this at the top of our previous stays at more expensive inns we have stayed. They go beyond what most do and it shows how much they enjoy meeting new people and not just running a business. Can't wait to return.... still much to explore. Thanks for a memorable time!!!!
