During the 1988 restoration of The Carriage House,we began referring to this room as "The Savannah Room". Much of what is within, was collected over the years in Savannah, Georgia. The decor is masculine. Walls are indigo blue with brown and ecru paisley wallpaper. Audubon, along with skipper and other pleasant old prints adorn the walls. The pine fireplace mantel, is original to the house. An alcove provides an interesting place for old, well traveled luggage and decorative items. A small table is in the room for writing and workspace. Claw-footed tub/shower. Wi-Fi&free LD calls w/in USA.

We are from Florida and we travel alot, where ever we go we always stay in a 4 star hotel. My wife was on a employment tour where they put us up in the Breenden Inn and Breakfast located right on Main Street in Bennettsville, South Carolina. We stayed in the Camelot. This place exceeds any concerns that anyone could ever have. The second morning while here I went to the main house for breakfast where Wesley had served me a very nice breakfast which encluded a plate of mixed fruit followed by scrambled eggs with melted cheese, bacon, sausage and toasted bread with melted cheese also, along with a glass of orange juice and a glass of water. Before I left for breakfast I had started a load of clothes, when I returned from breakfast to my surprise, Maria, an employee of the inn had already cleaned and made my bed, not only had she did that but she also took our clothes from the dryer and folded them and placed them on the bed for me. I was so impressed. Everyone here makes you feel like your family instead of someone just renting a room. So if your looking for real and I mean real southern hospitilty then I urge you to consider here. Wesley and Bonnie would often come out and have coffee with us while they would share history of the town and also some of the homes. Andy and Hema

Wesley & Bonnie were wonderful host & hostess during our stay at the Breeden Inn. The room was wonderful, the breakfast delicious, and the company was terrific. Would recommend this to anyone staying in the area, or just for a weekend get-a-way!

We decided to stay here for the weekend because my husband was about to deploy for 6 months, and I must say, we had the perfect weekend. Wes & Bonnie were unbelievably kind..we felt like family! The food was AMAZING & the house we stayed in (Retreat on Main) was so cozy and inviting. We cuddled by the fire one night and read together..so romantic. The bed...truly the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Dizzy Gillespie's hometown of Cheraz is 15 minutes away, and we attended a jazz festival in honor of his birthday. There are antique stores and great restaurants in Bennettsville...I HIGHLY recommend Pizza Time! The gardens on the grounds make for a lovely afternoon walk. We napped in the hammock & really took in all the great landscaping. I could go on and on..but what I'm trying to say is, this place is truly wonderful. If we're ever around that area again, we WILL stay there. We made some really great memories and are so thankful to Wes & Bonnie for making our stay incredibly enjoyable and relaxing!

The trip was so pleasant from the beginning of check in to when we checked out. Bonnie and Wesley made both of us so comfortable with their southern hospitality and charm. The Manor was immaculate and so peaceful. Their backyard garden walk was quite the way to take time off and relax. Their pool setting was wonderful. And last but certainly not least was the breakfast, we have had breakfast at a lot of places but certainly not to the degree of this lovely breakfast. Five Star Bed and Breakfast, and a memory for our first anniversary as husband and wife. Justin and Robin
