Olaf’s Guest House is easy to find. Our guest house is conveniently situated on Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard, right below Signal Hill, between Beach Road and Main Road in Sea Point.
Olafs’ Guest House was built back in 1937, which helps to explain our design, spacious interiors, high ceilings and wooden/tiled floors. It has more recently been renovated and enhanced with touches of upmarket African style and charm.

When driving along Hans Strydom Road ( M6) there is a sign saying Sea Point.
Stay on Hans Strydom until you reach a traffic circle.
Enter the traffic circle and exit at the opposite side. You are now on Western Boulevard.
Stay on the Western Boulevard and it will become Beach Road.
Stay on Beach Road until you see the Winchester Mansions Hotel on your left hand side.
Turn left just after the Hotel. This is Hall Road. Turn left again into Wisbeach Road.
We are number 24 on your right hand side. The name Olaf’s and the number 24 are both on our wall. - Nearest major airport: Cape Town, South Africa (CPT) - D F Malan 22 miles

From Cape Town International Airport
Exit the airport and get on the N2 towards Cape Town. Stay on the N2 all the way until you enter Cape Town. Go over the first traffic light. You will now have the Convention Centre on your left hand side. Turn right at the next traffic light. This is Hans Strydom Road and there is also a sign saying Sea Point. Stay on Hans Strydom until you reach a traffic circle. (Building site untill Jan 2010)
Enter the traffic circle and exit at the opposite side. You are now on Western Boulevard. Stay on the Western Boulevard and it will become Beach Road. Stay on Beach Road until you see a big green and white Hotel , the Winchester Mansions Hotel on your left hand side.
Turn left just after the Hotel. This is Hall Road. Turn left again into Wisbeach Road. We are number 24 on your right hand side. The name Olaf’s and the number 24 are both on our wall - Meeting places:

The general rule for cancellations prior to arrival is:
Less than 7 days forfeit the full accommodation account
From 7 to 14 days forfeit 75 % of the accommodation account
From 14 to 21 days forfeit 50 % of the accommodation account
From 21 to 28 days forfeit 25 % of the accommodation account
In the event of premature departure we charge for the full original booking
Rooms that are not occupied by 18h00 will be seen as a NO SHOW, unless prior arrangement has been made.
