I have traveled extensively throughout Mexico staying at many fine beach resorts ,hotels and B+Bs . This resort is one of the most enjoyable spots I have found. Tucked away on a quiet but convenient northern beach of Mazatlan, the owners ,Ray and Linda have created a beautiful oasis with tasteful architecture and lovely vegetation. the rooms are all new construction very clean and well appointed. The pool overlooking the ocean is also very nice . Unfortunately when we stayed the restaurant run by their daughter was under reconstruction but I have heard rave reviews about its quality and look forward to sampling it's fare when I return in the near future. The owners strike me as blythe spirits, making you feel very welcome but not oppressive. As I travel to Mazatlan typically twice a year ,I will no longer consider staying anywhere else. Robert F

We recently stayed 4 nights at El Sol La Vida and can't wait to return already. Ray, Linda, Leanne and Mia were the perfect hosts. There isn't anything at all we would change. Their hospitality and friendliness made our stay extra special. We shall return!!!

The property was immaculate and the service was fantastic. I stayed in the garden room and the private patio was quiet and peaceful. I plan on returning before winter is over. Surfs Up Cafe next door had a terrific menu and everything was fresh and organic.

The Wrights were above and beyond expectations. If you needed a ride into town, they provided. If you needed a dinner reservation, they provided. If you needed a surf guide or any other activities, they provided and set everything up. Best Bed and Breakfast in Central America, and well possibly in North America.
