    best ever stay

This Bed and Breakfast was the best all around value of all the B/B s we have ever stayed at. This bed and breakfast was the home of the famous builder Hubert Bird of Bird Construction built in 1923. We loved the ambiance of the old arts and crafts bungalow that was wonerfully restorded to better than original.. All suites in this Bed and Breakfast feature resstored claw footed tubs with beautifull ceramics, lovely restored floors and antique furiture to match. In the morning you can sit on the front verandah and drink coffee will you watch birds and squirells scamper around. The avenues in this area are full of heritage homes all full of lovely restored homes.. In the evening we relaxed on the back deck with a glass of wine with the owners Pat and Gerry who are just wonderfull hosts. These folks have lived in this area all their lives and are just full of wonerfull things to see and do. They told us that they can barely wait for new customers to come. they even have a sign on the front saying: Come as strangers and Leave as freinds. We would come back here in a heart beat as it is clean and very quiet and very close to down town. We highly recomend this Bed and Breakfast for your next travel destination!
