    We have traveled a fair amount over the years and Candace and Jim are two of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The Inn is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean is outstanding. Candace provides excellent information about Mazatlan and the surrounding area. Jim took us fishing and was a great guide. Mazatlan was very safe and the old town area was charming and fun.

    Fabulous ocean front B&B located directly across from the Malecan. Perfect location to enjoy old Mazatlan and the Gold Zone. Short walk to restaurants and Old Town and numerous beaches. Taxis drive by right outside the inn so it's easy to get transportation anywhere. The inn is located in a very safe and clean area. Rooms are nicely furnished, clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a safe. Breakfast is served on the patio overlooking the ocean and consists of Belguim waffles, juices, fruit, pastries, bagles, English muffins and hard boiled eggs. The American owners are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back, we had a wonderful time! Loved the inn and the location (and the fabulous views!).

    My husband and I, and our two teenager sons, spent two nights at Mazatlan’s Ocean Front Inn in late April. We needed a place to stay before we began our gifted 2 weeks at a timeshare hotel. While researching this site for B&B’s, we were impressed by past reviewers’ ravings about Candace and Jim’s hospitality. Could they really be that warm, welcoming and helpful? We soon discovered: YUP BIG TIME! Candace and Jim are eager to offer genuine, cheerful, easy-going friendly service in a multitude of ways…suggesting where to eat… how to ride the buses…where to sightsee….where to walk. Candace even went so far as giving the four of us a ride to catch the Stoney Island Ferry, but taking the long way there so she could add a personal tour of the area enroute. We savour two vivid memories of the Inn: Warm soft ocean breezes wafting throughout the house, and bright soothing colours that instantly make you smile. The place was grand! With Candace and Jim occupying the very top floor of the Inn, you feel very welcome to freely roam the two guest living rooms, the fully equipped guest kitchen, the different balconies, and now the guests get the bonus social pool. Truly home away from home. Now that we’ve returned home to Canada and reflected on our holiday, we know that next time we visit Mazatlan we will definitely stay the whole holiday at Mazatlan’s Ocean Front Inn. Sure, our gifted two weeks at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay and Inn at Mazatlan were lavishly luxurious, but when it comes down to it, it is the genuine friendliness of Candace and Jim’s place that earns them top marks in our books. What you see in the pictures is what you get, and what you read in these reviews is what you get. It doesn’t get any better than that! The secret is out – Mazatlan’s Ocean Front Inn is the best B&B in Mazatlan.
