    The Hollies B&B is situated in a small seaside town of Prestwick, on the west coast of Scotland. The house, built in 1860, was the home of a wellknown architect, John Keppie, friend of the famous artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a frequent visitor to the house. The history of the house and its connection to Charles Rennie Mackintosh resulted in the house being shown in an episode of ‘Great British Railway Journeys’, presented by Michael Portillo, recently. The Hollies is minutes from Prestwick’s bars and restaurants, the beach, Prestwick Golf Course. Or visit the museum of Scotland’s favourite poet, Robert Burns. Or The Hollies can organise bike hire for a relaxed and enjoyable day.

    We arrived on a late night plane and was greeted very warmly by Helen. The room was exceptional!More than we expected from a bed and breakfast. We were made to feel very much at home. Helen was lovely and very helpful. She made sure that all our questions were answered and was happy to suggest a few hidden places in Scotland which turned out to be real gems. Definitely recommend The Hollies to anyone visiting Scotland.

    Fantastic holiday in Scotland. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. And the weather was glorious. We had sun the whole time. The Hollies was lovely and so much history! The rooms were so spacious and roomy. I just loved Helen's taste in decor. My husband took the opportunity to play a round of golf on Prestwick Old course which was just 2 minutes walk from the B&B! Had a wonderful time and highly recommend visiting The Hollies, just to hear the wonderful story of the house. Helen was

    Rooms are lovely. Everything was very clean and well decorated. The B&B location was great for the train station and Glasgow/Prestwick airport. I had a wonderful time. Helen, the owner, was very helpful and pointed out all the good places to visit in Prestwick and gave me directions to the golf courses. I highly recommend the B&B to anyone visiting the place.
