Clifton is a traditional detatched stone villa in rural Scotland, which has been lovingly restored as a family home.
The West Wing of Clifton, once the housekeepers quarters, now provides quality, pet friendly holiday accommodation for two. This four star accommodation is located in Kingussie, a picturesque and historic village near the Cairngorm National Park.
Kingussie is an ideal base from which to explore the Highlands. The spectacular views make it a perfect place for walking or mountain biking holidays. The Cairngorm Mountains are half an hours drive away for skiing and snowboarding, and sailing and canoeing are available at Loch Insh and Loch Morlich which are also nearby.
The West Wing of Clifton is a luxurious suite, providing private accommodation for 2 people and is perfect for romantic breaks in the Highlands. It is accessed through a private entrance and has a bedroom, dining area and bathroom. The rooms are tastefully decorated with solid oak floors throughout. The spacious bathroom has a romantic double bath, shower and fine Scottish soaps. Outside there is plenty of off street parking with room for bikes, canoes, skis or muddy boots.
The bedroom is tastefully decorated with crisp sheets on the double bed and bespoke furniture. It has a digital TV and radio, wireless internet connection DVD player and CD player.
Breakfast is included in the price and all food is prepared how you like it on the Aga using fresh local produce. Choose from a full Scottish breakfast, vegetarian Scottish breakfast, kippers, eggs on toasted muffins, cereal, porridge, toast, fruit juice and tea or coffee. The propery has been awarded a 4 star rating by the Scottish Tourist Board. Dogs are welcome free of charge.
