My husband and I stayed here a few months ago and from the moment Elspeth opened the door we were made to feel welcome. Our room was beautifully furnished, with thoughtful little touches and the bathroom was amazing. We had to leave early the following day, so didn't have time for the full breakfast. Elspeth provided fresh fruit salad and cereal etc and gave us a packed lunch too. We had to get to the station and it was raining, so she took us in her own car, nothing was too much trouble. Can't say a bad word about our stay or the guest house itself. As I said in the title-a little gem. Sheila Cross
