Welcome to the Burnside where you will be assured of excellent personal service in a beautiful guest house offering excellent 4 Star quality accommodation great breakfasts and superb value for money. Double rooms have super king size beds and all have orthopaedic mattresses for a good night's sleep. All rooms are equipped with Digital TV & DVD player electronic safe hospitality tray hairdryer ironing facilities and WiFi access. The modern ensuites have toiletries provided.There are two family rooms two double or twin rooms plus a single room suitable for the solo traveller. We have a wide selection available on the breakfast menu using good quality local produce wherever possible. If you need an early breakfast or a packed breakfast it will be arranged for you. Should you require restaurant reservations taxis to be booked advice on places to visit golf and transport arranged car hire Ayr is famous for being the birthplace of the internationally renowned poet Robert Burns and the Burns Cottage and museum is a popular tourist attraction. Culzean Castle owned by the National Trust for Scotland is only a 20 minute drive down the beautiful Ayrshire coastline. The new Ayrshire Coastal Path is a must for walkers who wish to walk the 100 miles from Glenapp to Skelmorlie along beautiful coastline with the Isle of Arran a constant backdrop. Ayrshire also hosts over 30 golf courses including the famous Open Championship courses Turnberry Old Prestwick and Royal Troon and quality municipal courses such as Belleisle and Lochgreen. As a member of the South Ayrshire Hoteliers Golf Association special course fees are available for guests playing at the local municipal golf courses. Golf packages with transport can be arranged on request. If you are planning a trip to Ayr why not stop over for a few days there is plenty to do and see for all ages. Glasgow International Airport|Air|35|Drive out of Glasgow airport and take the M&& south towards Kilmarnock then the A&& to Ayr. At the Whitletts roundabout outside Ayr follow signs for Ayr Town Centre. At Wellington Square head towards seafront and Queens Terrace is last road before esplanade. Alternatively from airport take taxi to Gilmour Street Rail Station in Paisley and get train to Ayr and then taxi to Queens Terrace.;Glasgow Prestwick Airport|Air|4.5|Take a left out of the airport and follow signs for Prestwick town. Go through Prestwick and into Ayr. At the Police Station roundabout turn right and take a left at the traffic lights. Cross the river Ayr into the Sandgate. When you reach Wellington Square turn right and head for seafront. Queens Terrace is off Bath Place on the right hand side.;Ayr Bus Station|Bus|0.4|Come out into Wellington Square and head for seafront. Queens Terrace is off Bath Place before the seafront.;Ayr Railway Station|Train|1.5|Come out of the railway station and go across Burns Statue Square to Dalblair Road. Go down Dalblair road and down Barns Street until you reach Wellington Square. Go across the square to Bath Place and head for the seafront. Queens Terrace is the last road on the right hand side.;A77|Road|3.5|Take the Whitletts roundabout off the A77 outside Ayr and follow the road to the town centre. At the bottom of this road after ~2 miles take a left turn and cross the river Ayr into the Sandgate. Follow this road until you come to Wellington Square take a right turn and head for the seafront. At Bath Place take a right turn into Queens Terrace before reaching the seafront. The Burnside is half way along at No.14 Queens Terrace.;
