Albergo Allegria B&B

– Windham, NY

Set in the Northern Catskill mountain forest preserve, Albergo Allegria is circa. 1892 Victorian Mansion. Italian for the "Inn of Happiness", Albergo Allegria is a 4 Diamond AAA property with manicured lawns and country gardens. Victoriana in its full detail is the architectural and decorative theme that innkeepers Lenore and Vito Radelich have preserved through this 16 room bed & breakfast inn. The Radelich's have taken two of the original cottages of the former Osborn House, a summer vacation complex which swelled to a capacity of 300 summer tourists in the early part of the century. The Osborn House property changed owners several times and over time was sadly neglected. Imagining their former glory, Lenore and Vito purchased two of the homes and began work on these Victorian Ladies.

"Wonderful stay"

"I stayed a week with Vicki and Jim and I felt very safe as I was alone while my son stayed at the ball park. All week the breakfasts were wonderful, the room was spacious, and everything was very clean. Jim and Vicki are very hospitable and friendly. The Inn is off the beaten path and very quiet, yet close enough to the ball park (5 minutes or so) and town."
