AikenBBB is on the Heritage Corridor of SC. Down the road is the location of the battle between Kilpatrick and the Alabama calvary. The property itself is turning up Civil War artifacts and ruins including an old brick square well.
The skirmage was at the intersection of Weeks and Moseley Rd.where Kilpatrick was burning the railroad. Travelers are encouraged to hike into "Ditch Pond Preserve" and locate the graveyard.
Within 20 minutes guests can get into Aiken SC and experience world class equestrian and cultural events.

Nearest major city: Aiken, SC (30 miles north west)
Directions to property:
Off I20 take Rt.1 to Aiken. Take 118 bypass to Hwy.78 SE. Go through Montmorence and Windsor. After Windsor turns from 45 mph to 55 mph, take your 3rd left. This is several miles, first left is Pearl, then Heritage then White Pond, but, the sign is down. There is an older building being renovated with a new tin rusty colored roof and brick pillars. Take this left, take your second right (you can only go right) Weeks Rd. take first left is Moseley and we are the 3rd left.
Off I95, take Hwy 78 to Williston SC. At the main light, with Rite Aid, take a right and an immediate left onto Main Street. Pass the Post Office, and proceed straight out of town. The road will take a sweeping curve to the right, but, go straight on a "lesser" road, "Aiken Rd.". Take your first right, Moseley Rd. (dirt). 3rd drive on your left.
