Barking Fox Farm Guest House

Very quiet and secluded setting, but close to Landrum, SC and Tryon, NC, and FENCE (foothills equestrian nature center), where we had unlimited access for hiking with our dogs. Tex and Cody (5 woofs out of 5!)

Great atmosphere. The Palmetto trail is great. Great area for cycling. We plan to come back when we can spend more time. This is a clean well furnished cottage. Tasty healthy breakfast.

We had a wonderful time relaxing and roaming the countryside. The Innkeeper's were friendly and very helpful with all of our requests. We love seeing all the horses and dogs. This place is an outstanding value, and we will absolutely be staying there again.

We've stayed at The Barking Fox Farm twice and can't wait to go back for a third time. Both cottages are very clean and neat, and the decor goes perfectly with the country, horse country setting. One of my favorite things is the full size kitchen, complete with pots/pans/cooking utensils so we can make healthy meals even while being on vacation. The frig is stocked with orange juice, eggs, and milk, and fresh bread is delivered every day from a local bakery... I say bread, but its more like a dessert. The pear walnut was incredible! There are two great grocery stores just a few miles away so we were able to buy everything we wanted to cook for the entire week. The bed is extremely comfortable, and there's extra blankets in the closet if you want to cuddle up while watching TV. Sitting on the porch overlooking the pasture with the horses and the starry sky while sipping hot chocolate was like being in paradise. The Innkeeper is always available if you need her, but never intrusive so you have complete privacy. Just remembering our time at The Barking Fox Farm makes me want to book our next trip.

My wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend. This place was fabulous! Wine and breakfast were waiting for us. The place was very clean and charming! They even allowed our dog! We had a great weekend and recommend this place to anyone

My husband and I have taken many get away weekends. This was one of the best! Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful! We will be back!

We had our fourth visit to Barking Fox Farm in October. Whenever we come to visit family in the area we have to stay here ! Everyone is so nice and hospitable it has to be the most relaxing bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Even Jake, our Golden Retriever, loves coming here . He can't wait to run around and visit with the horses. The guest house is wonderful. Having a sitting area, bedroom and kitchen is perfect. The decor fits right into the hunt country area and it is very apparent that a lot of time and careful thought was spent making sure everything was perfect. I really don't think there is anything about Barking Fox Farm that we don't love and we are already looking forward to our next visit. After so many stays, it is like going to visit a good friend who alway welcomes you with a big smile !

Barking Fox Farm is a wonderful place to spend some time. It is very clean, comfortable, outstanding service, and very elegant. The innkeeper could not have been more accommodating. I would highly recommend the Barking Fox Farm if you are considering visiting the area or just passing through. I certainly will be staying there again.

We visited Barking Fox Farm in July with our 2 dogs. What a wonderful time we had.It is a truly dog friendly. The cottage was spotless couldn't believe any previous dogs had stayed. Loved watching the horses from the deck every morning while we ate breakfast. Our dogs also loved long hikes and watching the horses from the deck. It felt like we were on our own private farm. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

One of the best b&bs that I've found that allows you to bring pets. A beautiful setting and great hosts combine to make this a place to truly enjoy. If you love the country setting and enjoy a small town feel right down the road in Landrum,SC, Barking Fox Farms is definitely a place you should checkout.
