"Outstanding Honeymoon "Tree of Life Cabinas""

"Our first time to Costa Rica - very glad we chose Tree Of Life Cabinas. Very comfortable and clean. Being in the jungle atop a mountain offered many breathtaking ocean views and ever changing sunsets. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the warm and gracious hosts started a honeymoon tradition (each time the word honeymoon was said, we, the newly weds, kissed!) The Cabina that we stayed in had a very comfortable king size bed. Apartment size fridge to store our beverages, a full-size coffee maker and fresh ground Costa Rican coffee. I cannot begin to describe how amazing the outdoor shower was. Nothing better than having privacy to shower and have a view of the luscious jungle as scenery! The water pressure was the best that I have experienced in any of my stays around the world in various large chain hotels and bed and breakfasts. Speaking of breakfast, the Gourmet Gringo makes the ultimate mango/banana pancakes! If it were not for local tours (best tour was fishing Tico style with Orlando the local guide) and dining, there was no need to leave this location. The pool is very relaxing. I found it very creative that there is a tile seat in the deep end for watching sunsets and the "beach” area at the other end so you can put the lounge chair in the water and splash water over yourself if you get too hot. The watch dogs are very friendly but not obtrusive at all… they walk up say hello and go on their merry way. One of the traditions Ben and Nate started is for guests to plant something on the property for future guests to enjoy. Just like the Tree of Life, always giving back. We planted Pineapples so I know someone will be enjoying fresh fruit at breakfast some day that we had a part in! Enjoy your time at Tree if Life Cabinas. I definitely recommend staying at Tree of Life Cabinas, and hope to return again soon! Carole and Jim Albertini "
