Complete with a sunken whirlpool/shower bath, our Master Bedroom (2) is almost large enough to be a suite! With a private deck and entrance, the Master Bedroom is a favorite at the Henry Collins. Located off the dining area, you'll be the first at breakfast.
Henry's Suite (4) occupies two rooms and is beautifully decorated in blues; ceiling fans provide a nice breeze throughout the suite. A fold out sleep sofa occupies one of the rooms to accommodate an extra guest.

Henry's Suite(2) features a fold out sleep sofa to accommodate an extra guest. With a whirlpool/shower bath in your private bathroom it's hard not to get comfortable and feel at home.
Reminiscent of a country lake bungalow, you will feel at home in this room. Our Bungalow (3) has a twin sized day bed in addition to the queen size bed. Note inset for another view of this room.
Marie's room (1) is perfect for waking up refreshed. Airy and warmly furnished, it is located on the first floor and features a whirlpool/shower bath and hardwood floors.

This prominent building was refurbished in the 1990s from its former life as a print shop. Just steps from eclectic shops and eateries and minutes from the waterfront. Spacious rooms all have private baths, queen-sized beds, mini refrigerators, and air conditioning. Breakfast with fresh, seasonal, local offerings is available. The Henry Collins Inn is open year round and is reasonably priced for its fabulous value. With on site parking, your stay at the Henry Collins will be relaxing and worry free so you can use that energy to enjoy your visit in the City by The Sea to the fullest.

new owners have created an atmosphere of someone who loves what they do. fresh linens, 2 minute walk to restaurants and bars on Broadway. rooms with a real sense of authenticity appropriate for an old inn.

Directions to property:
From points South, off the Newport Bridge, take right onto Farewell,continue through the lights, at the stop sign turn onto Warner and right onto Tilden. At the end of Tilden, turn left onto Marcus Wheatland. The Inn is on the right. From Points North, take I93 to 24S and onto 114S this becomes West Main Rd. Take this into Newport where the name changes to Broadway. At Equality Park take the right. This is Marcus Wheatland. The Inn is on the left.
