We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Almondy Inn. Evelyn is a wonderful hostess and we had a delicious breakfast each day. The Inn is convenient and within walking distance to restaurants etc. We would recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Almondy in Newport. We were there for a week in mid-September. We had a great time. The room was very nice. The breakfasts were outstanding. We were in the Lanai Suite which had a small balcony with a view of the harbor. The location was great. It's close to everything on Thames Street and the harbor.

This B & B was so lovely. We stayed in the Burgandy suite on the first floor. It was wonderful, cozy, peaceful and quiet. Breakfasts are amazing. Always a couple of kinds of pastries, lots of cut up fresh fruit, and a wonderful assortment of egg dishes. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. The inn is about 1 1/2 blocks from downtown on the waterfront. A great, convenient location! If we visit Newport again, we will certainly plan to stay there again.

Our room was small, but beautiful with a magnificent view of the habor. Evelyne was a gracious hostess, and very interesting to talk with. She gave us many suggestions for our stay. We definitely will come back to the Almondy when we return to Newport!

Newport is extremely expensive, so the high price of the Almondy Inn was in fact quite reasonable. Excellent location. Rooms are small, but that is to be expected in an old house. Newer bathroom fixtures would improve the rooms a lot. Very good breakfast. Charming hostess - discreet, and a good reader of people's desire for sociability (or not).

Although our stay was very brief, we found Almondy Inn very homely and our hosts, Evelyne and Herber most welcoming and helpful. Their restaurant recommendation was great, I don't think we would have stumbled on it due to it's location upstairs. Almondy Inn is very conveniently located, an easy stroll to shops and restaurants, it is very clean and has comfortable beds (except the bedpost is in the way of the television screen). Great place to stay.

Our stay at the Almondy was wonderful but just be prepared to join the danceclub (One Pelham) until about 1am. Not a big deal for us as we were up late but could spoil your restful slumber if you are an early sleeper.
