Fezziwig Bed and Breakfast way exceeded our expectations. We were in Rhode Island to visit The New England Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary and (after many hotels) this was our first bed and breakfast experience. I am a gardener myself, and i wished our Maryland plants looked as healthy as the Perra's specimens in Hope ValleyI. Our room was just the right size, with tv/wifi and floor to ceiling skylights. What can i say about the food ? Yummy poached eggs with sauce on bagel with bacon and homemade pancakes topped with butter/ syrup from our host's very own sugar maples. The very best part of our weekend experience was the Perra's hospitality. We were made to feel like we were welcome as part of their family. In fact, another guest had brought her parrot and we all sat together in the living room and admired it, We can't wait to go back next year !!!!!!

My husband and I stumbled upon Linda and Arthur's peaceful and warm home because he was doing business in the area. We are avid bed and breakfast connoisseurs, and have never had such generous, kind, and welcoming hosts. Linda and Arthur truly went above and beyond. We brought our three month old baby, and they were extremely kind and accommodating despite her sometime constant crying. While there are wonderful things to see in the area, we also felt completely welcome and comfortable just relaxing in their home or outside on their property. A few pro's: -Breakfast was delightful and filling, different every day, ranging from Eggs Benedict to Belgian waffles, and always with a variety of baked goods and fruit in addition. If you want, they will serve you on their outdoor patio. Stunning. -My husband is French, and they were very well travelled and understanding of a variety of cultural differences. -They have a lovely piece of land in a peaceful area, and virtually a working farm on it. Ask them to show you around the grounds -Their home is filled with original artwork -The price is great for what you get -The location is great, easy access to a variety of local attractions, nice and centrally located Could not more highly recommend this wonderful couple and their beautiful home.

We stayed at Fizziwig three nights in June and since it was our first experience at staying at a bed and breakfast we really didn't know what to expect. Arthur and Linda were so welcoming and made us feel like family instead of guests. The room was extremely clean and spacious and the breakfast's were delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a good value.

I recently stayed at Fezziwig's with my sister, brother-in-law and infant nephew. Arthur and Linda were very friendly, helpful, accomodating to the baby and amazing cooks. I would highly reccomend staying here and hope to visit again.

My husband & I decided to take an impromptu trip to the Mystic area on a Saturday night in July. After spending a few hours trying to find a decent room, I thought we were going to get stuck at the Econolodge for $170. There were no bed & breakfasts in the immediate area that would take less than a 2-night reservation during the summer and most were booked full anyway. Thankfully, I found Fezziwig... I called up at 4 pm on Saturday night and Linda told us she would take us in! Before we hung up, she asked us if we had any allergies or food preferences she should know about. We arrived 3 hours later and were greeted by Linda, Arthur and their two cats. Linda showed us to our room. We chose the Arcadia room because it had the en suite bath. The room has lovely greenhouse windows, which can be opened or "shaded" by remote control. The only photo I took of the room shows the wooded view out of these windows. The shower stall was small, but modern with 4 different shower heads/jets. The entire house was clean, the bed comfortable and the towels were fluffy. Breakfast was served the next morning on the screened-in porch and was lovely. I loved how they both donned chef's coats and hats. They take hospitality very seriously! Fezziwig's location is certainly off the beaten path; it is about 18 miles from Mystic. It is also easy to reach the casinos near New London, Providence and Newport from there so it's a good, central location if you are planning day trips to several areas. Speaking of, we were planning on spending our Sunday traveling the Connecticut wine trail. Art was kind enough to jump on the computer and print out a TON of information, maps and addresses for us of nearby wineries. Because they are not in a tourist town, Fezziwig is much more affordable if a $300 B&B just isn't in your budget. Loved it!

Me and my wife recently stayed at the fezziwig and the room and the breakfast we had each morning was terrific. We stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts and this is the best by far. Arthur and linda were very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Its a beautiful place if you want piece and quiet from all the hectic days you have. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone staying in the area. Thanks arthur and linda for a nice stay, ed and karen.

We visited the Fezziwig enroute to Block Island. Arthur and Linda have made a a cozy Inn with amazing woodwork in a delightful rural setting which is a short drive from shore points, state parks and other destinations. The Inn has beautiful flowers and the delicious breakfast, which included local incredients and homemade preserves, was served in an open room on elegant china overlooking the garden and hives. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. Best of all was the way Linda and Arthur made us feel welcome, adjusted thier service to meet our schedules and went out of thier way to make sure that we had a relaxing, enjoyable experience.

We stayed at Fezziwig B&B for two nights prior to picking up our son from nearby Yawgoog Scout Camp. My wife and I stayed in the tea rose room. Fezziwig was impeccably clean on a quiet rural street. Our hosts, Linda and Art, were absolutely wonderful and the gourmet breakfast was outstanding. It was just what we needed to rejuvenate after a hectic week.

On an extended holiday thanks to a volcanic ash cloud hovering over Ireland, my boyfriend and I happened upon Fezziwig B & B on our search for accommodation in nearby Newport. We couldn't have been happier with our find. Linda and Arthur are fantastic hosts who went out of their way to make our stay as relaxed as possible. Delicious breakfasts and quiet, comfortable rooms made our four night stay even better. Location between Newport, RI and Mystic, CT a big plus! Thank you!!!!

We were longing to take a break from city living. The country environment was just what we needed. Fresh air, gardens and a sky where you could actually see the stars at night were simple pleasures we enjoyed. Clean room, prepared morning breakfast and pleasant owners topped this off to be an outstanding getaway.
