A magnificent Bed and Breakfast on Block Island, RI The Bellevue House offers beautiful hilltop lodging and accomidations. Located just up High St. you'll find gracious hospitality, superior service, and comfort in a meadow like setting that recalls Block Island's farming tradition. Our charming Bed and Breakfast is the perfect choice for romantic getaways, wedding accomidations, girls weekends, and family reunions. Boating, fishing, and kyaking are all just a few minutes walk from our inn, while our grounds are one of the best places on the island to just relax in our adriondak chairs, to grill up lunch and enjoy it looking over the ocean on either one of our wraparound porches, or on the picnic tables. The Bellevue House is only a short walk to town, where you will find the shops, restrauants, movie theatre, beach, as well as the best island nightlife. There is so much to do and see, throughout the summer months, from shopping, hiking, sailing, boating, parasailing, lighthouse tours, cruises and fishing charters that The Bellevue House offers a great cantral location for couples, and families alike. The Bellevue offers accomidations May through October. The Ferry landings to the island are only a 2 hour drive from Boston and New York City, 45 minutes from Providence and Hartford. Once on the island our B&B is conviently located by both car and foot.

My stay was the best, the staff was like family. I didn't want to leave. The room was so cozy and we could see the ocean view as we lied in bed. It was like heaven. The breakfast room was very quaint and the fresh fruit salad and food were top quality. The shopping and beaches and restaurants were all within walking distance. I loved it and it would be my place of choice to stay any time I go to Block Island.
