      From I-95 follow signs to Jamestown/Newport or RT-138 East. Cross Jamestown Bridge and then to the Newport Bridge. Take the first exit off the Newport Bridge marked Scenic Newport. Turn right off the exit and then right at the second traffic light onto Americas Cup Way. Follow Americas Cup along Harbor Area approximately one mile where it will turn left up a hill. Here the road turns into Memorial Boulevard going 6/10 of a mile, crossing Bellevue and to 63 Memorial Boulevard on the right.

    • Directions to property:
      Follow I-95 south to Rt. 4 at sign reading "Exit 9 to Newport/South County" and go south for 10 miles. Bear right on US 1, Tower Hill Road and go south for .8 miles. Turn right on ramp at sign reading RI 138 East to Jamestown/Newport Bridges. Take the first exit off the Newport Bridge (Downtown Newport). At the end of the exit take a right (this is Rt. 238). Stay on this road for appproximately 1 mile until you see the Red Parrot Restaurant on the right (this is the end of America's Cup Avenue and the beginning of Memorial Blvd). Head up hill, travelling 6/10 of a mile from the restaurant. This will bring you to the Victorian Ladies. We are on the right, #63 Memorial Blvd.

    My fiancée and I decided to spend a last-minute weekend in Newport and booked the Victoria Room. Immediately upon arrival, Cindy helped us find our bearings and told us of numerous activities to partake in. Tea and sweet treats in the afternoon were a pleasant surprise, especially after spending the day in the cold. Our room was charming and cozy. The electric fireplace didn't pump out much heat, but we were comfortable nevertheless. We brought back some cheeses and bread and, when we asked Cindy for a knife, she handed us a cheese board and an assortment of cheese knives. (It is the little things like this that make me happy.) Breakfast was delicious! There was an assortment of fruits, pastries, juices, and homemade granola with yogurt. Our hot dish was spinach quiche with bacon, and it was outstanding. Harry was in attendance at breakfast and was a delight to speak to; he also kept out coffee mugs full, which is always a pleasantry. All in all, our spur of the moment getaway was perfect and The Victorian Ladies played a monumental role. We will definitely be back!

    From the warm welcome to the beautifuly, clean room and fantastic breakfast...this bed and breakfast provided us the perfect, romantic getaway. Harry, the innkeeper, was so gracious and helpful. It could not have been any better than it was.

    Everything about this Inn was very charming from the room to the grounds. Overall, an exceptional experience. The innkeeper was so insightful and pleasant as was the owner and other guests that we met.
