Our room was terrific and the location halfway between the waterfront and Bellevue Ave was perfect.

Suggestions-add an electrical outlet beneath the wall mirror in the main room. My hair dryer chord was not long enough for me to dry my hair and style it in front of the mirror. Also test the existing electrical outlet as my hair dryer only worked in the bottom of the outlet?! Also, to enhance the guests' experience by adding a small bench in lieu of the luggage holder so guests could sit upon it in front of the mirror or place beauty products on it while they prepare for their day or night. We sat on the floor with our beauty products in our lap while we prepared for a wedding. The guest(s) staying in the smaller bedroom have no mirror or place in that room to prepare!

We've stayed at The Newport Blues Inn for many years, in fact, even back when it was La Forge Cottage. It's always been a pleasure. We plan to return next year.

I booked a room at the Newport Blues Inn to attend the Newport Folk Festival this year. Although I felt like I waited until the last minute to book a room, the price was reasonable. The space was very pleasing and the staff were exceedingly welcoming. I look forward to staying here again!

This 2 bedroom suite was perfect for a girls weekend. I sitting area between the rooms was perfect to chat and have some before dinner drinks. Breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and cheerful. Definitely will stay again.

Our room was very nice and it was on the third floor of the inn. We stayed with two other couples and we had the entire third floor to ourselves as there are only 3 rooms up there. The common areas on the third floor are fantastic and allowed the six of us to fully relax and have a good time without bothering other guests. The common area on the third floor of the Newport Blues Inn includes a living room with plenty of seating and a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink and a dining set seating for 4 or more adults. We made full use of the kitchen and the refrigerator allowed us to store perishable items we purchased for the weekend. This allowed us to play cards well into the evening with plenty to eat and drink without bothering with coolers and bags of ice. Breakfast was good and we had plenty to eat. The chef, Tracy, was very nice and took the time to recommend local attractions based on what we like to do. Our room, New Orleans, is the biggest of the three on the third floor and has plenty of room to stretch out. The bathroom is very large for a B&B and quite nice. We did not use the soaking tub, but it is very big! This was our second stay at the Newport Blues and we plan to stay there again.
