Our grand dining room features a table set for ten with two intimate bistro tables in the plentiful plant filled sunroom.
The John La Farge room is named after the famous painter and stained glass maker who lived here while comissioned to do the stained glass of the Breakers. The spacious bathroom has a double jacuzzi adjacent to a reproduction of one of his windows.
The Oliver Perry room with its handsome nautical ambiance has a king bed and working fireplace-a favorite to those who sail.
The Master Suite is a stunner-the king bed and spacious room with fireplace also has a bathroom equal in size-complete with double Jacuzzi, his and her vanities, enormous closet space and small back bedroom.
The Margaret La Farge room, located on the third floor is for the couple wanting seclusion and romance-complete with a double Jacuzzi in the bathroom.
Our Innkeeper, Midge Knerr is a former restaurant chef with a pastry background. Mornings include homemade pastries and jams along with a full cooked to order breakfast-specailizing in Eggs Benedict on Sundays!
The Matthew Perry room has an oriental theme as it is named after the explorer. The only room with a spectacular harbor view this room is spacious and features a small sitting area.
This cozy room is right of the French Provencial-style kitchen. Sit and read a book by the fire or watch a sporting event on the large screen television.
Afternoon refreshments include homemade pastries. Our signature Golden Coconut Macaroons in addition to our other lucsious treats makes for a sweet break of the day!
Flowers are magic at La Farge Perry House-you will find them bedside, in the foyer, and dining room-another special touch at our acclaimed Select Registry Inn.
Many a bride has walked down our staircase after dressing with family and attendents by her side. Take over the whole house for this special event in your life!

Located at the top of Newport's posh Hill, La Farge Perry House has a perfect location, within walking distance to all of the major attractions, yet far enough away from the active nightspots to provide a restful atmosphere for those that wish to relax. A full breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room where you are surrounded by scenes of Newport on a mural original to the house painted in 1900. With handmade linens and 300 thread count sheets, the rooms have extraordinary comfort; many with small sitting areas and most having either a single or double jacuzzi bath tubs. The local knowledge of Jennifer, the innkeeper, will help you with answers to any questions about the inn, Newport "hot spots" - for dining, dancing and live music.

We were so very impressed with the value for money at La Farge Perry house. I thought when booking that I was choosing a cheaper option, however I stayed in the Matthew Perry room which had a very luxurious feel as I ate a homemade macaroon and enjoyed a lovely spa bath. Jennifer was at pains to ensure we treated the place like our own and treated us to a delicious omelette breakfast with cereals and croissants. The house was decorated in a lovely style. I would highly recommend staying here.

This B&B is in a good location that is walkable to lots of areas in Newport. The room rate was definitely a plus and much better than if you were staying close to the water. All in all, a lovely B&B that I'd stay at again.

My fiancé and I returned to the La Farge Perry after staying there a year ago. The best part was Jennifer, the innkeeper, remembered us right away. We loved it last year and this year was no different. We tried a smaller room than last year- only because we'd like to try each room at least once, not because we disliked the Master Suit from last year. The Margaret room was very nice and quaint. The bathroom was very nice as well. Clean and welcoming. The balcony is accessible from the room, which is nice when you want to sit outside. The breakfasts were just as we remembered- homemade and cooked to order (hash browns too!). Everything was very tasty, right down to the macaroons that Jennifer gave us for the ride. We can't wait to make this a yearly tradition. Thanks again Jennifer!

My fiancee and I recently stayed at the La Farge Perry House for two nights. The room was large, with a fireplace and a comfortable bed. The bathroom included a large jacuzzi bathtub, which my fiancee took advantage of. The breakfasts were great, some of the best meals we had that weekend. The service was excellent and Jennifer was more than happy to help with recommendations and advice. The house was full for the weekend, but we never really heard any of the other guests until we came down for breakfast. All in all it was a great weekend and we will be returning.

I had a wonderful long weekend in Newport and stayed in the John LaFarge room - gorgeous dark wood and red motif made it the perfect choice for a Valentines get-away. The house is impecably kept by Jennifer, who is the walking definition of great customer service. She was warm and friendly and an excellent cook (best eggs benedict I have ever had). I will never stay anywhere else in Newport - this is THE place.
