Located at the top of Newport's posh Hill, The LaFarge Perry House has a perfect location. It is within walking distance to all of the major attractions, while it is far enough away from the active nightspots to provide a restful atmosphere for those that wish to relax. A full breakfast is served in our beautiful dining room where you are surrounded by scenes of Newport on a mural original to the house painted in 1900.
With handmade linens and 300 thread count sheets, our rooms have extraordinary comfort; many with small sitting areas and most have single or double jacuzzi bath tubs.
Our wish is to make the guest feel as if they were in "their own home away from home" for their stay. Our staff is available to answer any questions about our inn, Newport "hot spots"-for dining, dancing and live music.

From South: 95 N to 138 E. Follow 138 through Jamestown over Jamestown & Newport Bridges. Take Downtown Newport Exit off bridge. Go right at end of ramp onto Farewell St. Continue on Farewell St. until you must bear right onto Thames St. at "do not enter" sign. Follow Thames into Washington Sq. Turn left onto Touro St at Banana Republic. Go straight up hill through one light. At top of hill take left onto Kay St. Proceed one block down Kay to the corner of Bull St. La Farge Perry House is on left, 24 Kay St. From North: 24 S to 114 W. Proceed on 114 into Newport. 114 becomes Broadway. Go left on Ayrault. Policies
- Minimum stay required (2-night min on weekends May thru October and 3-night on all holiday weekends)
- Smoking is allowed outside only (1st & 3rd Floor outside porches)
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying (Children over 12, but house is better suited to adults)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (sparkling wine available on request)
- Deposit amount required (Advance deposit of 1/2 total required. Balance due on arrival.)
- Check in time is 3:00 - 7:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
- Cancellations:
