Inn Details
Built in 1891, the Inn on Bellevue was the home of William Fludders, a well known silversmith. This elegantly decorated home was carefully transformed into the classic Inn on Bellevue. The Bellevue Manor and Bellevue House are the two other properties under the Inns on Bellevue name, each with their own history and charm to experience. Delight in the Victorian era decor and historic charm of the Inns on Bellevue while enjoying today's modern conveniences.
The Inn on Bellevue offers adjoining rooms for groups and families, and 2 & 3 bedroom suites are available in Bellevue Manor. Our Bellevue House offers a better value with more basic, affordable rooms at the same level of service as the other locations. Rooms and suites are available with a jacuzzi and kitchenette. All of our accommodations are private and secure and include a continental breakfast, off-street parking, and Wi-Fi. The three inns are all on the same block of Newport's famous Bellevue Avenue. We are just two blocks from Thames Street with its Brick Market, wharfs, restaurants and shopping. Touro Synagogue is minutes from our door and we are within the Eruv. Check-in for all 3 Inns is at The Inn on Bellevue on 30 Bellevue Avenue.

FROM NORTH
Start on I-93S. Take exit 4 for RT-24 S/State Hwy 24 S toward Brockton. Follow Rt. 24 (with Rt 195W a short distance). Immediately merge back on Rt 24 S which merges with RT-114 S in Portsmouth, RI. RT-114 S becomes Broadway at Middletown/Newport line. At end of Broadway in Washington Sq. make an almost U-turn just before lights, up hill on Touro (pass 2 movie theaters). Touro becomes Bellevue Ave at lights in front of Hotel Viking. Turn left on Catherine St. & park behind 30 Bellevue.
FROM WEST
From MA Pike/RT-90 E to Exit 10A toward Worchester/Providence. Merge onto Rt 20 Connector. Take the RT-146 S ramp to Millbury/Providence RI. Merge onto RT-295 S toward Warwick. 295 S becomes 95 S. Take exit #9 to RT-4 S toward North Kingstown on the left. Bear a slight right at light at the end of divided hwy onto Tower Hill Rd., RT-1 S. Take the RT-138 E exit toward Jamestown & Newport Bridges. Take Scenic Newport Exit after crossing bridges. Turn right at bottom of ramp onto JT Connell Hwy. Go straight thru lights on Farewell St (cemeteries on both sides). Straight through lights at far side of cemeteries. Bear right at stop on Thames St. At next lights turn left onto Touro St. Touro becomes Bellevue at top of hill across from Hotel Viking. Turn left on Catherine St & park behind 30 Bellevue.
FROM SOUTH (NYC, CT, ETC)
Take Rt. 95 N to Exit 3, RT-138 E in RI. Follow signs to Newport & Bridges. Take Scenic Newport Exit after crossing bridges. Turn right at bottom of ramp onto JT Connell Hwy. Go straight through lights onto Farewell St (cemeteries both sides) and at lights at far side of cemeteries. Bear right at stop on Thames St. At next light turn left onto Touro St. Touro becomes Bellevue at top of hill across from Hotel Viking. Turn left on Catherine St. & park behind 30 Bellevue. - Nearest major airport: Providence, RI (PVD-T.F. Green State) 28 miles
