Enjoy quaint New England charm in our two bedroom B&B ,one block from the beach and Cliff Walk.All rooms are spacious, with sitting areas: we also offer the use of our secret garden and deck. This was my second time staying at Cooney Cottage and both times I've been nothing but satisfied. I got a late invite to a wedding in downtown Newport and the only hotel options I had were incredibly expensive. So I called Rachel to see if a room was available and she was incredibly accommodating. Got a great rate, everything worked out perfectly and I was less than a mile from the wedding! Don't know where else I would've found such a convenient and affordable option.

My husband and I got married at Easton's Beach last summer and were looking for a place to stay close by. I found Cooney Cottage and booked our room for five nights. We had a wonderful experience, Rachel was great!! The bedroom was spacious, clean and homey (just what I was looking for). The breakfast was great (self serve and perfect to get our day going). The back deck and yard are gorgeous, I even had some of my wedding pictures taken there!! It's just a short walk to the cliff walk as well as Easton's Beach (which saved us money on parking!). If you are looking for a small and quaint Bed and Breakfast with spectacular service, this is the place!!

We had a wonderful time at Newport this weekend! The cottage is in the perfect location, short walking distance to the beach and to Thame street where all the shops and restaurants are located. The room is clean and comfortable. The owner Rachel is very pleasant and helpful. Definitely will stay at the Cooney Cottage for our future visits to Newport!

Lovely spot, extremely clean. I booked because of our dog and didn't have very high expectations. Boy were we surprised. Meticulously clean, choice location, easy off road parking,private backyard and deck. Just lovely. We go to Newport often and this will be our new spot with our puppy.
