Captain James Preston House B&B
This delightful B&B is located in a large authentically restored 1861 Victorian house. Situated in the heart of Newport's historic Yachting Village, it's within easy walking distance of the harbor, mansions, cliff walk, beaches and town center.
The inn features 2 bedrooms (1 suite) and are beautifully appointed with Victorian furnishings and period pieces. All bedrooms have Queen beds, private baths, A/C and cable. Our Colcester room features a jacuzzi tub and Victorian chaise lounge.
Guests can relax comfortably in our cozy sitting room with fireplace, or on our sizeable front porch where you can sit and enjoy some treats from the authentic French bakery located next door.
A full breakfast is served each morning by candlelight. Ample off street parking available at the rear of the house. There is no smoking or pets allowed.

Follow signs for I-95 South. Take 95 South (10 minutes) to Route 4 South. This will be a left exit. Stay on Rt 4 approximately 20 minutes. Stay in the right hand lane, you will see an exit for Rt 138/Newport Bridges. Take this exit, continue over 2 bridges (1 has a toll). Take the "Secnic Newport" exit at the end of the bridge. Make a right at the end of the exit ramp. Follow "In Newport" directions. - Meeting places:
