Attwater Villa
Built at the turn of the 20th century as a place of respite for weary travelers, the Attwater Villa is a historically unique fixture in the city of Newport. Lovingly renovated and warmly appointed the Inn carries on today the traditions of its past. Come try a different type of hospitality, one that leaves many of our guests referring to the Villa as home during their stay.
Neatly tucked away off historic Bellevue Avenue, the Attwater Villa has a unique location central to all activities. The famed mansions, beach and wharf areas are all only a few minuites walk from our front door. Come relax on our tremendous secluded sun deck at the end of an eventful day in Newport. Quiet privacy in the heart of all the excitement, we are the Attwater Villa.
The Villa offers 8 guest rooms and 4 lavish suites. Each accomodation is uniquely and comfortably furnished, all with private baths. The rooms have cable T.V., telephones and air conditioning to make your stay with us a pleasent one. Parking and breakfast are included. Once in Newport take Americas Cup to Memorial Boulivard, at the top of the hill turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. Take the first right onto Downing Street the Attwater Villa will be at the end of the road, 22 Liberty Street. - Nearest major airport: Providence, RI (PVD-T.F. Green State) 35 miles

Rte 4 will turn into Rte 1 south
After the third traffic light take the exit for 138 east Newport bridges
After the second bridge take the first exit historic Newport
Proceed to the second set of lights and turn right onto Americas Cup Ave.
Stay on Americas Cup to the end and begin up the hill(Memorial Boulivard)
At the top of the hill turn left onto Bellevue Ave.
Take the first right onto Downing St.,
the Attwater Villa will be at the end of the road.
