Almondy Inn

A Victorian Bed & Breakfast Inn located in the gas-lit Historic Hill district of legendary Newport, Rhode Island. The Almondy features a convenient downtown and bay view location. This elegant 1890's home has been restored to its original glory and is located within walking distance of many fine restauants, antique shops, galleries and near the famous Newport Mansions and island beaches.

Five elegant guestrooms and suites are uniquely decorated with fine period antiques and feature King or Queen beds, private bathrooms with Jacuzzi bath, most with spectacular bay views and some with a bedside fireplace. One-bedroom suites offer a seperate living room for additional comfort and a true feeling of spacious luxury.

All accommodations at our Inn are elegantly decorated and feature cable TV, VCR, CD Player, direct-dial telephone, free wireless internet access, central air-conditioning, private bathrooms, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Morning in-room coffee service available on request. Gourmet Breakfast served daily in our dining room.

    - At second set of stoplights, turn left. Continue 2 miles past Easton’s Beach and up the hill – now Memorial Boulevard – to second set of lights – make a right onto Bellevue Avenue.
    - Take you 2nd left onto Pelham Street.
    - The Inn is located on the left at 25 Pelham Street. Parking in the rear.



    From New York:

    - Interstate 95 North to Exit 3 in Rhode Island to Route 138 East.
    - Follow signs to the Newport Bridge. You’ll first cross the Jamestown Bridge and then the Newport Bridge (Toll).
    - Take the first exit off Newport Bridge to Historic Newport.
    - Take a right at the bottom of the off-ramp.
    - At the second traffic light turn right where the road forks onto America’s Cup Avenue.
    - America’s Cup will turn left by the harbor front area and leads into Memorial Blvd. at a traffic light.
    - Follow Memorial Blvd. uphill to the first traffic light - make a left on to Spring Street.
    - Take your fourth left onto Pelham Street.
    - The Inn is located on the left at 25 Pelham Street. Parking in the rear.

      Deposit refunds - less a $25 processing fee – will be issued if the reservation is cancelled at least 14 days prior to arrival. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, a credit in the form of a Gift Certificate for the amount of the deposit – less our $25 process fee – will be issued (Valid for one year) only if we are able to rebook the room. No refunds for early departures. No refund or gift certificates will be issued in the case of No-Shows.
