    Lanai Suite: Spacious, luxurious and comfortable. Enjoy great views of Newport Bay from your private 2nd floor balcony.     A Full Gourmet Breakfast is served each morning in the stately Dining Room from 8:30 - 10:00 am. Always starting of with fresh fruit salad, freshly baked muffins and creative signature dishes to follow.
    Lounge around in the Victorian Parlor - drink a cup of Tea in the afternoon or enjoy some wine & cheese at Happy Hour. Ask the Innkeeper for Restaurant suggestions or have us make some sailing excursion plans for you.

    A Victorian Bed & Breakfast Inn located in the gas-lit Historic Hill district of legendary Newport, Rhode Island. The Almondy features a convenient downtown and bay view location. This elegant 1890's home has been restored to its original glory and is located within walking distance of many fine restauants, antique shops, galleries and near the famous Newport Mansions and island beaches. Five elegant guestrooms and suites are uniquely decorated with fine period antiques and feature King or Queen beds, private bathrooms with Jacuzzi bath, most with spectacular bay views and some with a bedside fireplace. One-bedroom suites offer a seperate living room for additional comfort and a true feeling of spacious luxury. All accommodations at our Inn are elegantly decorated and feature cable TV, DVD, CD Player, telephone, free wireless internet access, central air-conditioning, private bathrooms with luxury bat amenities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Morning in-room coffee service available on request. Gourmet Breakfast served daily in our dining room.

    Location, Friendly Owners, Good Experience

    My girlfriend and I were here for a weekend in April, 2013 and I was very happy with the Almondy Inn. The owners definitely take pride in their Inn and it shows. Rooms were very clean, fresh, and inviting. Breakfast was great both mornings we were there as well. The location couldn't be better - literally steps from Thames street and very easy to get to restaurants, bars, etc. We would definitely recommend/go back.

    We really enjoyed the hospitality provided by the owners, including sharing some life stories over complimentary wine and cheese! The location was perfect for the time of year we went (pre-season, in April), with a very short walk to Thames St. with all of the downtown shopping, food, and bars. We were still able to drive around and see all of the attractions, including beaches and mansions, within a 10 minute drive. The breakfast served was fantastic each morning, and provided a great time to mingle with the other guests. We had a wonderful stay.

    Evelyne was a fantastic hostess. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. It was wonderful to have the wine and cheese hour to meet the other guests. I highly recommend this property.     • Check In: Between 2-7 pm    Check Out: 11:00 am

    • Minimum Stay: Weekend 2-night Min; 3-night Weekend Min. during Holidays and Special Events

    • Deposit Amount Required: Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a one-night deposit - including 13% tax - or 50% of total due for bookings longer then 2 nights. Balance due upon arrival.

    • Cancellations: Deposit refunds - less a $25 processing fee – will be issued if the reservation is cancelled at least 14 days prior to arrival. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, a credit in the form of a Gift Certificate for the amount of the deposit – less our $25 process fee – will be issued (Valid for one year) only if we are able to rebook the room. No refunds for early departures. No refund or gift certificates will be issued in the case of No-Shows.

    Wonderful Stay

    My boyfriend and I took advantage of the off season rates and spent a night at the Almondy B&B. We stayed in the Blue room. The room was beautifully decorated , the bed was extremely comfortable, and the fireplace added to the romantic atmosphere. My favorite aspect of the room was definitely the 2 person jacuzzi tub. I'm 6'2 and it was so refreshing to have access to a bathtub that was actually long enough for me. We really enjoyed the personal touches of the inn, wine and cheese at night, a warm delicious breakfast in the morning, bathrobes in the rooms. We can't wait to go back!

    the place was wonderful, service and food was great, and you can't beat the location, it's very close to all the bars and shops in downtown Newport, but yet on a quiet side street so you can peace and quiet if you want
