The Bayside Room is an elegant retreat bathed in sunlight. Decorated in golden yellows and warm reds, the room is located at the front of the house with a side view toward the harbor. The large private bath offers a heated tile floor for your comfort. This is our largest room and includes a twin-size pull out chair to accommodate a third guest. There is an additional charge of $30/night. This room typically requires a 2− to 3−night minimum on weekends, May through Columbus Day, and a 2−night stay midweek in July & August. One night stays in season (either midweek or on weekends) are offered based on availability.
Our Narragansett Room continues to be our most popular choice. Decorated in soft blues and earth tones, this bright and airy room features a king sized bed and is one of our largest rooms. In front of the triple windows, two comfortable armchairs invite you to curl up and relax with a good book and a cup of hot tea. In the winter, (Nov.- Mar.) this room features an electric fireplace, creating a relaxed, romantic mood for your enjoyment. The Narragansett typically requires a 2− to 3− night minimum on weekends, May through Columbus Day, and a 2−night stay midweek in July & August. One night stays in-season (either mid-week or on weekends) are offered based on availability.
The East Ferry Room, welcomes you with hues of serene sage and soft cream. Tastefully furnished with antiques, this room evokes elegance, warmth and comfort. This room has a 2−night requirement on weekends, May through Columbus Day.
Conanicut Marina is steps away from East Bay B&B. We are 3 houses behind the building on the left of the photo.
Don't fight the Newport traffic. Take the ferry which is only steps away from us.

East Bay Bed & Breakfast has four guest rooms and is located in the heart of downtown historic Jamestown, Rhode Island. Enjoy easy access to all that Jamestown and Newport County have to offer. East Bay Bed & Breakfast is a 1/2 block from Jamestown Village with its award winning restaurants and shops. For easy, convenient travel to Newport, East Ferry Wharf with ferry boats (May through September) is just a two minute walk. If you prefer to drive, we are less than a 10 minute trip over the Newport Bridge to downtown Newport.

We stayed here in Oct 2012, and it was simply wonderful, superior to the other 5 places we stayed on our visit. Jamestown is beautiful and charming, and a very easy drive to our destinations in Newport. It’s also very safe, and quieter and far less touristy than Newport. The proprietors lent us the EZ pass so that we would not need to pay tolls when we went to Newport. The proprietors put tremendous thought and consideration into their guests’ stay. I always think a proprietor should stay in their own rooms to experience a guest’s needs when using the room. These folks must have done so, because the room had many thoughtful touches. This is an older house, and in addition to being comfortable, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and renovated with every modern convenience, they added many little touches that made our stay as easy as being at home. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the windows had blackout shades, the bathroom had nice towels, and plenty of hooks and surface space for our belongings. We had delectable sweet treats placed on our doorknob each evening, and the breakfast was made from scratch each morning and was also delicious. The breakfasts were just enough food, not too much, and not too little, with special touches like a mint leaf and coconut shavings in the seasonal fruit dish. It seems they thought of everything. The proprietors were friendly and knowledgeable, but not intrusive. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

We stayed at East Bay Bed & Breakfast for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Narragansett Room. It was a home away from home. Breakfast was fantastic. It was a short ferry ride over to Newport and we didn't have to worry about the traffic or parking. We knew our car was safely parked on the quiet street of the Bed and Breakfast. Diane and Paul were able to recommend places to eat at and things to see. Paul and Diane were amazing hosts. We are already planning a second trip to this Bed and Breakfast.

We have stayed here on two separate occasions. Rooms are beautiful, bed and linens extremely comfortable. Location can't be beat - just a quick ride over the bridge to Newport. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed.

Last year at this time, Paul and Diane hosted my family and I for my wedding at East Bay B&B - it was a wonderful experience! They opened the B&B up for my bridesmaids and I to get ready for the ceremony! The rooms are clean and lovely, it was a home away from home at a very special time for me. The morning after the wedding, Paul and Diane gave us a lovely Father's Day breakfast with heart shaped muffins that were delicious! Thank-you Paul and Diane! Sincerely, ~Liz

Deposit Amount Required: All reservations require a deposit of one night’s stay. Deposits may be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) or personal check. Credit cards are charged when the reservation is made and checks are cashed upon receipt. Checks must be received 5 days after a reservation is made and 2 weeks prior to arrival. For stays 5−nights or longer, a 50% deposit is required.

Cancellations: We request that you cancel your reservations with a minimum of 14 days notice prior to your scheduled arrival date. A full refund of the deposit (minus a $25 processing fee) will be returned to you upon cancellation. If a reservation is canceled within 14 days of the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded (minus a $25 processing fee) only if we are able to rebook the room. There are no refunds for "no shows" or early departures.
