The Mansion is located 2.5 miles from Brown University,RISD, and Providence College. Its walking distance to Johnson and Wales and Roger Williams Park and Zoo. WE are just four miles from the airport. The Inn is located on Historic Norwood Ave. A grand street lined with elegant Victorian Manses, it, was designated a "National Historic Distict." The Mansion was aquired in 1994 by the current owners and a massive restoration project performed with wonderful detail and historic sensitivity. Guestrooms and common areas are superbly furnished with elegant antiques and fine art. Each guestroom offers a luxurious private bath and cable television. Most rooms have jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces.

The Newhall House ,circa 1892, is located next door to the Edgewood Manor. The Newhall House is a beautiful Shingled Style Queen Anne Victorian and is part of our Inn. Breakfast is served each morning in the Edgewood Manor. Rooms have wonderful architechtural details. Original pedastal sinks, black and white tiled baths(all private), and jaccuzzi tubs adorn this lovely Victorian. Rooms are spacious and children are welcomed in this property. Long term stays are also welcomed here with some rooms equipped with refridgerators and stoves.
