Olde Judge MansionTroy, NY

"Judge For Yourself"

"The Olde Judge Mansion stands like an anacronism in modern day Troy. It's Victorian facade has little reflection in the neighborhood it lies but within its walls one finds a home, moreso, than a bed, bath and key. Its innkeeper triples as guide, cook and friend. I couldn't want for a better breakfast nor guidance to the special sights that abound. The inn is a mere two blocks from historical Oakwood Cemetery ( grave of General George Henry Thomas, Uncle Sam and an album of notables ), a half hour from Saratoga and two exits acroos the Hudson to Albany. I couldn't think of a better stop, one worth remembering, when exploring the rarified environs of upstate New York....and you won't lose your wallet ! "
