Maryland

Hayley Farm B&B, Deep Creek Lake, offers a full breakfast both mornings, a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider, and two cooking lessons with a culinary expert. Guests enjoy the fruits of their labor at dinner Saturday night.

Massachusetts

Learn to make Southern European meals at the Captain Freeman Inn, Brewster, Cape Cod. The 2004 weekend classes have a Mediterranean theme, including Mediterranean bread; dinner in Provence; dinner in Sicily; and Mediterranean soups and stews. Weekends include two nights lodging, two breakfasts, Saturday afternoon class, followed by a complimentary regional wine tasting and four-course dinner.

Minnesota

Enjoy a weekend gourmet getaway in a cabin on Lake Vermilion at Ludlow's Island Resort, Cook in June and September, 2004. Well-known Chef Rick Kimmes will treat you to an unforgettable spread of dishes, offering tips on preparing the tasty fare. The package includes two nights' accommodations, dinners both nights with hors d'oeuvres, breakfast, lunch with a cooking demonstration, and a full Sunday brunch before checkout.

New Hampshire

Stay at three premier Mt. Washington Valley inns including the Cabernet Inn, The Crowes' Nest, and the Notchland Inn, while enjoying cooking classes with three locally-noted chefs. Lesson dates for 2003 are December 7-10; contact the inns for the 2004 dates. The three-night package includes one night at each inn, full country breakfast each morning prepared by the innkeepers, and three 2 1/2 hour classes taught by respected regional chefs. Colby Hill Inn, Henniker offers weekend guests a chocolate lovers class by noted pastry chefs Adrian Westrope and Daniel Tabor, on March 5- 7, 2004. Included is lodging for two evenings, a chocolate welcome gift, breakfast each morning with special chocolate selections, afternoon sleigh ride with S'Mores, afternoon tea, and gala dinner with chef commentary, along with recipes and cooking lessons.

The White Mountain Cooking School at the Snowvillage Inn, Snowville is the ideal way to enjoy a culinary vacation. For 2003-2004, the schedule includes Holiday Food, Fun, and Decorating; Cook n' Ski; Chocolate Cooking Weekend; Elegant Summer Picnics; and more. Rates include two nights lodging in the best available room, two dinners, two breakfasts, reception fondue and after-dinner drinks on Friday.

Pennsylvania

The Mercersburg Inn, Mercersburg has teamed up with L' Academie de Cuisine of Bethesda, MD to offer weekend packages featuring two intensive cooking classes and fabulous meals. Cooking classes are held in the mornings, followed by a lunch featuring the results. The Saturday night's Chef's Dinner is an elegant gala event.

Texas

Head for Texas Hill Country and learn how to create themed meals at Blair House, Wimberley . The cooking themes vary throughout the year, and include Holiday Desserts, Texas Food and Wine Pairing, Country French Cuisine, Northern Italian, American Gourmet Classics, Southern Italian, Cooking with Fresh Herbs, Hill Country Cuisine, Barbeque Basics, and more. The package covers lodging for two nights, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complimentary beverages including wine, all gratuities and taxes.

Vermont

The Rabbit Hill Inn of Lower Waterford, VT, and the Manor on Golden Pond, of Holderness, NH, have teamed up to offer a Northern New England gourmet getaway. This moveable feast includes with two nights at the Manor, and the third at the Rabbit Hill Inn. These inn's renowned chefs take you through the steps for cooking their favorite seasonal three-course menus. Afterward, savor the dishes; learn more about pairing food with wine, culinary tips, and preparation techniques. Classes include Holiday Sweets, New England Comfort Food, and Summer Grilling. Tuition includes three classes, recipe packets, picnic lunch each afternoon and special turndown gifts nightly.

Learn how to cook Greek Cuisine from this Greek pastry aficionado. Stay three nights at the Northfield Inn, Northfield and learn to prepare a new dish each day. The package includes cooking lessons, full gourmet breakfasts, and afternoon snacks.

Virginia

Learn about Southern cuisine at the Inn at Meander Plantation, Locust Dale. Themed weekend culinary classes include: Hors D'oeuvres for the Holidays, Soups and Stews, Romance, Chocolate, Spring is in the Air, Baking, Grill it, Herbs, The Summer Harvest, Elegant One-Dish Meals, Autumn Fest, Thanksgiving and Fall Traditions, and Sensational Hors d'Oeuvres. Gourmet cooking weekends are offered weekends from January to April at the Victoria & Albert Inn, Abingdon. Guests may choose from ethnic, American regional, or vegetarian cuisines. The cooking classes are limited to four guests at a time to allow hands-on learning. The weekend package includes dinner on both nights, lunch, and breakfast both mornings.
