"My Absolute Favorite!"

"My wife and I discovered the Inn at Tabbs Creek while traveling near Williamsburg about a year ago. We had such a wonderful first visit that we went back a second time, then rented the entire Inn back in May, all six rooms, to spend time with our daughter and some of her friends. Greg, Lori, and Lori's brother David are fantastic. Greg is a master chef who got "basic training" at Southern Seasons in Chapel Hill and at the Whole Foods in Durham. He was responsible for planning the opening of Mad Hatter in Durham, too. The first breakfast I had a year ago was really and truly the best breakfast I've ever had - healthy, wholesome, and good!! They prepared a very special dinner for all of us in May - I knew it would be great. On this third visit within a year, we kayaked and canoed, sat around a fire way too far past midnight, and were the first in the pool for the season! By the way, the natural setting at the creek is awe-inspiring - we saw egrets, blue herons, lots of fiddler crabs, and lots of birds. This isn't your creek-in-the-woods type creek, it's actually a small harbor or bay just a mile or two off the Chesapeake Bay."
