Its spacious grounds, the more remote location, yet close proximity to the city; the decor of the home, the food presentation - everything lent itself to a memorable stay. We would come back at the drop of a hat.

France and Denis were very friendly and kind, even to us Americans. Excellent breakfasts, lovely house WITH A POOL AND GAME ROOM! Bedrooms attractive, spacious, beautifully decorated. The perfect distance from the city, just a short drive to the ferry. Everything clean, fresh and well-maintained. Easy to find, nice surroundings.

A stately gracious home in beautiful surroundings only surpassed by the gourmet breakfasts and congenial hosts. We will return.

my wife and i booked this inn by searching the internet.we were a bit apprehensive because of it`s low price and location.what a pleasant surprise when we arrived,a beautiful b&b surrounded by acres of scenery on the property.the room was superb,food in the morning was first class and service was excellent.we travel quite a bit and found this to be one of the best stay ,especially for the value.

I wish I liked this place more than I did. It should have been a perfect experience, but the level of service didn't cut it for me. I found the owner to be slightly hostile, and his knowledge of English lacking. Too many rules (can't eat in your room) and the facilities are substandard. I was taking a shower, and the water gave out on me... The breakfast food was decent, but the arrangement, by table, was cold...you couldn't interact with other families.

Innkeepers Denis and France were gracious hosts. The Manoir is stunning, and the breakfasts are wonderful. We would recommend this B&B to all. We hope to return in the future. It was wonderful. Jean & David

Wow, this is a real old time Manor, with concrete gates at the road, a long driveway lined with trees, and elegantly furnished with antiques in a heritage centuries old home with lots of rooms on 4 floors and amazing staircases and views. Well equipped for long and short term visitors. The rooms were clean and comfortable and excellently decorated with antiques and modern amenities. The silver platter breakfast service was outstanding. We are going to come back.
