This was the first time in Montreal for my Husband and I. Gilles was very helpful regarding the attractions we wanted to see as well as giving suggestions for other things to do. We enjoyed staying in an actual neighborhood instead of a tourist district; we left our car parked the entire time and took the Metro everywhere, thus getting to see even more of the city than we would have otherwise. This is a great place if you like a small B&B with an excellent breakfast and an owner who really seems to love what he does.

This was our first visit to Gite Dezery but it is easy to see why so many of the guests make return visits. Gilles was both friendly and informative and his breakfasts were memorable. Although Gite Dezery is not located in the usual tourist spots, transportation by both Metro and buses was very convenient and the location made for quiet nights.

We stayed during the days preceding the Grand Prix in June. The innkeeper was very attentive and took great care of the rooms and property (which was the nicest home on the block of residential row homes.) Excellent breakfast- one of the most enjoyable parts of our stay. Room very clean, modern and comfortable. Only complaint would be that the walls are quite thin and I could hear the activity downstairs and in adjacent rooms. We were fortunate and the didn't have any noisy neighbors. The innkeeper offers parking in a lot located behind the house, street parking was very easy to find. The B&B is convenient to the Biodome and Olympic stadium- about 1.5 miles. Otherwise, you really do need a car to drive downtown (about 10 minute drive). Overall, we enjoyed it.
