The location is the best thing about the place. Other patrons at this place, were very nice, as were the servers. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Montreal.

While the room my daughter and I stayed in was clean, it was very small and difficult to access with suitcases as we had to up stairs to lobby then downstairs, outside & then to room. The staff was friendly and helpful but not too knowledgeable on where to dine. The breakfast was very good--fresh fruit and pastries.

We stayed in a budget size room during the winter. The budget size room was a little smaller as expected and was located on the ground floor. You had to walk down to the basement and through a set of doors that led to outside to get to the room. The room was clean for the most part. It had a certain charm to it. The people were extremely nice and friendly. They helped me call a restaurant on New Year's Eve to make a reservation. If you're looking for super fancy and immaculately clean, then this isn't place to go. But if you're like me and you're on a tight budget and need a decent stay, this is for you.

Close to the underground and bus routes and an easy walk (for us in our fifties) to downtown and the old port. Staff are courteous and helpful. Buffet breakfasts are delightfully nourishing. The bed was comfy and the room clean. We didn't test the spa bath. Excellent value for the 'package'.
