Nathalie and Robert were very gracious hosts and helped us with planning our time in Montreal. We arrived by train from NYC for a weekend in Montreal. The B&B is close to the train station and the old city.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for about 5 days and we LOVED IT! From the time we arrived we felt a genuine sense of feeling welcomed and that in itself was very refreshing. Rooms: Our room was excellent! It was clean and actually felt like you were almost at "home". We could tell that our hosts put a lot into making sure their guests are comfortable. Also, unlike a lot of places we've stayed at, the pictures of the room was exactly like the one we saw on this website. No bait and switch here! Service: The service was absolutely great. Nathalie and Robert were always available to answer any questions we had and gave us some fabulous ideas of places to see for example the Italian area and the Caribbean area in Montreal, where we were able to not only hang out with the local people who live there but also enjoy some amazing food. Their knowledge of the city really made planning a breeze. Dining: I wish I could be at the breakfast table with Nathalie every morning. Being an American, I was actually a bit shocked in the beginning at the portions at the breakfast table (I know, most of us eat like pigs...I've somehow managed to not become fat though). Anyway, I found that at the end of the meal, I was actually full! I wish I could remember what we ate so I could go into more detail but all I can remember is how good it all felt going down. Every breakfast was different and it was a nice change from the typical American breakfast we usually have. Nathalie is a great cook and one could tell that she puts everything into the food she serves. Like I mentioned earlier, I really felt as though I was at home. A'ladresse du centre ville is definitely the place you want to stay if you are looking to stay in downtown Montreal. If we ever return, we are definitely staying there! Sharon & Franco

The hosts of this B & B are very welcoming and informative. The location is good, near the eastern part of the city center in the Latin Quarter.

What a treat it was to spend five days at this downtown address. Nathalie and her staff were friendly, helpful, and excellent cooks. Breakfast was a small three-course gourmet feast. Each morning started with a different bread pudding, followed by a wonderfully seasoned egg dish, and finished with dessert (dessert!) such as yogurt and fruit, or sweet crepes. If you want lighter fare, just try the variety of Nathalie's homemade preserves on toast. Mmmm. Breakfast gave us energy to walk around all day, and Montreal is a great walking city. This B&B is in a great location, just a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, and there are wonderful neighborhoods to explore in any direction. Dining out is easy -- there are dozens of restaurants on Rue Saint-Denis just three blocks away. If you want to explore a little further out, the Metro entrance is right at the foot of the street. In spite of its great central location this inn is on a quiet residential street, so you won't be kept awake by traffic and nightlife. We stayed in Room 5 'Rustique' in the back beyond the kitchen, which was a great place to crash at the end of the day. The private bath was new and nice. Upstairs are three rooms that share a full bathroom and a hallway water closet. Parking takes some attention because there is street cleaning on alternating sides through the weekdays. Even so, I was able to manage moving the car easily without incident and weekends are not a problem. Would I stay there again? Yes indeed, and soon I hope.
