During a one week stay, we enjoyed both the Tower Room and the Tower Suite. The Secret Garden was simply Eden. There we were, sipping wine on a glider next to a pleasant waterfall, and picking up the most delicious macIntosh apples to eat, as they dropped to the ground from the adjacent shade tree. The house was meticulous. The ferry passes to QC were free. The guests were very happy with their choice. The owners were delightful, and while Richard is an artist on canvas, Helene is an artist in the kitchen. All daily explorations began with a wonderful breakfast from a pantry filled with smiles, great conversation, and amazing food! Merci, Helene! La vie c'est bon!

We had an amazing stay at 'Au petit Chateau' The place was beautiful and in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It was nice to be close to the old Quebec City, but we also loved the way we could wind down. Reading a book on the veranda, eating outside in the garden filled with flowers, going for a walk or bike ride. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely go back.

We stayed at Au Petit Chateau in October. What a beautiful time to visit Quebec City - the foliage is spectacular. Helene & Richard are very worldly, knowledgeable and excellent hosts. They made us feel entirely at home. The entire house and guest rooms are meticulously clean and well-appointed. The only disapppointment we encountered was with the breakfast. Although served gratiously, the advertised level of a 5-star breakfast was not met. If you are expecting crepes, eggs benedict and homemade waffles with whipped cream as we had with a 5 star billing, you will not find it here. The menu was certainly adequate but could be enhanced. We also question the practice of stocking the bathroom with items collected on hotel stays. That being said, we would certainly return and enjoyed our stay!!
