Guesthouse Holbox Apartments, located on its own private white sandy beach, away from the hotels zone on a quiet part of the island just 4 minutes walking from the main square. The house is divided in two spaceous beach front apartments on the ground floor and two beautiful ocean view suites on the first floor. Both suites have a wide sun and shade private balcony included loungers and hammocks, from where you can enjoy amazing ocean views with spectacular sunsets, dolphins and flamingos.Holbox Island is located off north-eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. It is a nature reserve with only one small, authentic fishing village.There are only a few places in the world where you can snorkel with whale sharks;Holbox is one of them.The island is unspoiled by mass tourism. Directions to property:
From the ferry dock in Holbox the easiest way is to take a golfcar taxi, about 4 usd , which brings you into 5 minutes in front of our little paradise. By foot it takes 15 till 20 minutes from the dock.Main street straight on, pass the main square , straight on ,last street before the beach turn left ,straight on ,400m we are located on the right side.

Cancún-Chiquilá:In Cancun first you have to get to the street: Lopez Portillo this is the road going out from Cancun to Merida. At the end of street Lopez Portillo there is a division between the Merida Libre and the Merida Cuota. Keep right and take the Merida libre.( NEVER TAKE THE HIGHWAY ;CANCUN- MERIDA QUOTe, BECAUSE THERE IS NO EXCIT TO HOLBOX!),to a small town called Leona Vicario , after there is Nuevo Valladolid village, where there is the entrance ( at Km 262), turn the deviation to the right (just after the speed hump ) and follow the road straight ahead for 30 km until Kantunilkín. Pass straight on, to Chiquilá, from that point it is only 35 km away ,from there you take the ferry to Holbox. Have a nice and safe trip!!
