Ashley’s Island House is located one and a half blocks from downtown Put In Bay’s main street. This Historic 1860’s Victorian Bed and Breakfast is the largest and oldest on the island. Hardwood floors, lofty windows, paddle wheel fans and antique furniture recreate a warm and comfortable feeling in each of our thirteen centrally air-conditioned guestrooms. A deluxe continental breakfast is provided to all guests and served in our main dining room. Ashley's, also enjoys catering to wedding parties, small businesses, family reunions and other groups. Our beautiful Georgian Manor was built in 1923 as a rectory of St. Anne's Church located at the corner of Richmond Street and Argyle Road. As such, it was constructed with the comfort and well-being of the priests in mind, and no detail was spared. We have attempted to preserve the original flavor of the rectory while updating the facilities with modern amenities. All rooms and suites contain their own private bathrooms. The Walkerville area is ideally located within easy reach of all that Windsor has to offer: •Restaurants, •Historic sites, •Airports •The beautiful water front on the Detroit River, •Shopping malls and more. We are within minutes of downtown Windsor with its Casino, Art Gallery, Odette Sculpture Garden, theatres, shopping, and fine restaurants. The tunnel entrance linking us to the United States is located in downtown Windsor and the Ambassador Bridge is only five minutes further away.
