Under new ownership and formerly well-known in the Punxsutawney area as the "Plantation Motel," this historical home which was built in 1856 is well-suited for guests. In the separate guest wing of the home are five rooms, each with private baths, Dish TV, and A/C. The large, comfortable rooms are decorated with old world charm. Slide into smooth, fresh sheets each night. In the morning, the china and silver gleam as you enjoy the home-cooked breakfast by candlelight in the newly remodeled parlor. An area is provided where guests can make coffee, store cold drinks or use the microwave oven at anytime of the day or night. In the morning, wander downstairs to a breakfast featuring some of the classic favorites such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, homegrown blueberries in crumpets or pancakes, french toast, homemade granola, muffins or banana bread, fried tomatoes, fruit, juice, and Gevalia coffee.
