The Gallery Inn

This wonderful 300-year-old rambling building overlooks the sea atop the north wall of fascinating Old San Juan. Walking distance to forts, museums, galleries, colorful shops and numerous restaurants, the inn is home to well known artist, Jan D'Esopo. Although only 22 guests rooms, visitors have access to many easy interesting rooms including interior courtyards, galleries, studios, porticos, music room, and roof top gardens. D'Esopo created paintings, silk screens, sculptures and castings are abundantly everywhere as well as in process in studios throughout the antique filled spaces. Uneven bricks cobblestones and many stairs connect gardens with guestrooms. If you enjoy watching art being created, or wish to commission a portrait, you will enjoy being a guest of the Galeria San Juan.
