I had an interview in Charleston but we decided to come a day early to explore the area. I had originally picked the Plantation Oak Inn because it was right next door to the Boone Hall Plantation. And although Boone Hall was temporary closed due to some filming we just hopped across the street to visit the Snee Farm Plantation instead. The Inn is in a great location and not far from Charleston, the interior design and rooms are just so cute! The property is gorgeous with giant old trees and a pier going out over the wetlands. The hosts were very hospitable and breakfast was delicious! I would definitely return in the future.

    Had a WONDERFUL time!

This bed and breakfast was worth the cost. My husband and I stayed there the week after Christmas ( Dec. 2011). The owners were very pleasant and informative about Charleston. We even got a free pass from them to go to the museum. This bed and breakfast was so much more homey and comfortable than a regular chain hotel. I would recommend anyone to stay there. K & M

My wife and I decided to venture south to South Carolina before we spent Christmas and New Year in New England. Plantation Oaks Inn was the perfect place for us to stay during our 4 night stay at the end of December. Being English, it was lovely to bask in the sunshine and explore the beautiful town of Charleston. Steve looked after us from the minute we arrived, and was a pleasure to chat to during our daily breakfast treats. (The breakfast truly is awesome!!!!) The rooms are lovely and spacious, with everything the modern traveller needs these days, big LCT TV, wifi etc. The property itself is great and only a stones throw away from the Boone Hall Plantation. You will need a car when visiting Charleston, we relied on taxis which was fine, but just a little heavy on the wallet..............

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Steve helped us out on where to go and what there was to do there and even gave us a booklet of coupons to use while we were there. Definately would recommend to others.
