Just as the Planatation was the center of Low Country living, our Plantation room with a king size poster bed allows you to relax and enjoy our facilities. A sitting area, private bath, beautiful marsh view and large closet, will add to your enjoyment while visiting the Charleston area.
A true symbol of the South, the magnolia tree with it's aromatic blossoms causes everyone to have a drawl in their speech. This room with queen poster bed, private bath, and view of a large Magnolia tree just outside the window is the perfect starting point for a Charleston vacation.
South Carolina is nicknamed the Palmetto State. The silhouette of the palmetto also graces the state flag. The inn is in close proximity to Fort Moultrie, which was once built from Palmetto Logs. This room has a beautiful romantic queen bed, private bath, view of the tidal creek and large closet, making it a wonderful spot to relax after viewing the sights of Charleston.
A blue dye, originally extracted from the woad plant, indigo was key to bringing wealth to the low country. This room with a romantic queen poster bed, private bath with ball and claw tub, and shuttered windows, is reminiscent of a time long past.
In the south Cotton was truly king. This room with queen bed, blue walls and white accents truly makes you feel as if you are in "High Cotton". This room has a private Bath across the hall.

I had an interview in Charleston but we decided to come a day early to explore the area. I had originally picked the Plantation Oak Inn because it was right next door to the Boone Hall Plantation. And although Boone Hall was temporary closed due to some filming we just hopped across the street to visit the Snee Farm Plantation instead. The Inn is in a great location and not far from Charleston, the interior design and rooms are just so cute! The property is gorgeous with giant old trees and a pier going out over the wetlands. The hosts were very hospitable and breakfast was delicious! I would definitely return in the future.
Had a WONDERFUL time!

This bed and breakfast was worth the cost. My husband and I stayed there the week after Christmas ( Dec. 2011). The owners were very pleasant and informative about Charleston. We even got a free pass from them to go to the museum. This bed and breakfast was so much more homey and comfortable than a regular chain hotel. I would recommend anyone to stay there. K & M
Absolute gem of a find in Charleston, SC.

My wife and I decided to venture south to South Carolina before we spent Christmas and New Year in New England. Plantation Oaks Inn was the perfect place for us to stay during our 4 night stay at the end of December. Being English, it was lovely to bask in the sunshine and explore the beautiful town of Charleston. Steve looked after us from the minute we arrived, and was a pleasure to chat to during our daily breakfast treats. (The breakfast truly is awesome!!!!) The rooms are lovely and spacious, with everything the modern traveller needs these days, big LCT TV, wifi etc. The property itself is great and only a stones throw away from the Boone Hall Plantation. You will need a car when visiting Charleston, we relied on taxis which was fine, but just a little heavy on the wallet..............
Beautiful B&B close to Charleston

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Steve helped us out on where to go and what there was to do there and even gave us a booklet of coupons to use while we were there. Definately would recommend to others.
