General InformationOutstanding for antebellum architecture in the style of a Greek temple and rare pocket doors with ornamental glasswork, this unique house was built by David Stanton, whose brother built world-famous Stanton Hall. Acquired in 1877 by the present owner's great-grandparents and now on the National Register, it won the Historic Natchez Foundation's 2003 Restoration Award. Accommodations include the Master Bedroom or a Cottage. Offerings include a full Southern breakfast, complimentary wine with live classical piano music, and billiards. Guests receive a discount in Stone Gallery of Antique Maps, all found in one convenient location in the Downtown Historic District!
